Free Coffee / Tea refills @ McDonalds! £1.09

My manager told me we're not supposed to 'advertise' this but... hey...
You can get free refills on any hot drinks I believe! (not 100% sure about hot chocolate!)
but tea, white / black coffee, cappuccino & Latte's you can!

White / black Coffee- £1.09
Cappucino / latte - £1.39
Tea- not too sure...

but if you 'go large' you have to pay a wee bit more, about 30p that goes with extra value meals (medium or large!)

and to top this all off! For the 6th cup you drink (can be either cappucino, latte, black, white, tea or hot chocolate) you can hand in a voucher (a sticker system) to receive a free drink!

Something else I should say is, With happy meals you can get hot drinks, considering the happy meals cost £2.19+ it's a pretty good price! :)

hope this helps someone!
(I should say, this might not be valid in every restaurant, but it is in mine which is a service station!)

free refils really

and never though of the happy meal idea like 80p for chips and burger and toy to mess about with lol.

cheers for the info will try it might call up local mc donalds and ask to talk to manager and find out.
#2
Like the Happy Meal idea had never thought of that, not sure of the free refills
#3
You can also get a bottle of water (Vittel) um, a bottle of tropicana too which are both imo generally expensive! so if you're only slightly peckish buy a happy meal... but pleaseee if you don't have a kid say you don't want the toy! we're forever having kids asking for different toys! grr! :)
[mod]#4
might go down target roundabout drive through refill please lol

nett price of cup of tea 4p
nett price of coffee 5p

I have known this for 13 or 14 year, good for people who didn't know though
#8
When you use the vouchers you can get a large drink , you have to ask when ordering but never been refused yet
#9
I knew that McDonalds used to do free refills (one of the ones I remember even had a coffee pot upstairs just for refills) but no idea you could still get refills.
#10
Par for the course in the States so it's about bleedin' time we got the same level of service in the UK! As others have said, these drinks cost very little so it doesn't hurt them to top you up!

yes you can! as the tills give you an option! :-D also! pick something like a latter or cappucino as they are more expensive! :D but while you're working up to the 6 stickers buy a tea as they are like 90p or something small (can't quite remember the price though!)

the free drink once you have so many stickers / stamps works well with expensive drinks (places like millies, cafe nero) if you buy a cheap drink for the time you're paying but when you get the free one treat yourself! :) it's better for your body and pocket that way! rather than lots of un-healthy frappucinos buy tea then at the end of it have a snazzy cream filled drink! :)
#12
Its always been an unadvertised policy that you can get free refills but you have to use the same cup. Nothing to do with the buy 6 get 1 free campaign.
#13
I didnt know this, but i do now, thank you for the heads up!!

Heat added, and rep cause your a rebel and didnt do what your manager told ya :)

They've been doing this for years, I thought everyone knew they did this. I was once in Mcdonalds in Kings Cross and a tramp went hunting in the bin for an empty coffee cup so he could go up for the free refill.
#15
can you do this with any drink or just coffee?

this is so typical. how people get employeed into companies is beyond me. the customers seem to know more about the company promotions than the employees

I don't want to flame down your deal but this has not been a policy for several years since the introduction of 'premium coffee' which replaced the filter coffee. Consequentially, it is unlikely that many stores will honour this deal and I do not want you all wasting your time on this.

Nevertheless, it is possible that some franchisees may still operate this policy.

The happy meals are definitely excellent value though!

I knew about the free coffee refills for years, but never knew about the others.
I sort of remember asking about it years ago and was only told that they did free refills on normal coffees, but not on the premium ones like Cap and latte (, I've never ordered tea before). But that was when the premium type were first introduced.

If you want free soft drinks refills, I suggest subway.

Can i take this opportunity to ask whether subway actually offer free refills? cos it isn't advertised in store, and i've been denied the privilege in some stores while allowed it in others.. thanks

Is it true that if a customer sings the advertising jingle "Da da-da da daa..." to a McDonalds member of staff then they have to reply "I'm lovin it!"? I've seriously heard this is company policy..

And does that come with with a free punch on the nose? :p

On the till we can give away any of the hot drinks i think, can't remember the 2 on the bottom row though! they are probably hot choc and tea! unless they are 'large' i just press any old button.

I swear they loose loads of money because of me 'accidentally' giving away food! It's the other staffs fault though! they try to help me but mess my orders up! :x

Yes, this is standard procedure throughout Sweden, including their trains...

done this before, as i took the cup back and they asked if i wanted a refill, and i was like sorry dont have enough money, haha. I always bring my own cup with me now, which in some takeaway places i've gone to knock a few pence off, mounts up over the year and i like to do my bit for the planet, since you can't recycle these poly cups. and tea always taste's better in a mug, plus bring a big mug most places usually fill them up

I gave a man a cup of boiling water and 2 teas ( = 2 x tea bags + 2 cups of hot water + the free hot water) for a flask! :-D kind of wasting the cups as it's 3 cups, but hey McDs can afford that, the amount that gets chucked due to the staff dropping them on the floor or us using them as water to wash up small spills etc!
