£14.99 my ar*e

2 quid on big offers.

And Maplins is overpriced anyway.

If I put this tap light on the offer, it would turn a splendid shade of blue.

free at maplins if you are already buying something

That is kinda funny, in an "I'm going to hell, but I'll have to queue up behind the owners of that site." way

Why would you want to reduce the pressure of water coming out your tap, increace the shitness of your bathroom suite and light the area around the water in a blue LED?

Useless product, and yeah seen it go for like £2 on ministry of deals.
#12
Its a tacky piece of junk if you ask me.
#13
Classy - will go well with my gold plated fish head taps
#14
waste of money
#15
or should i say waste of water

The reason this is handy for a disabled person, and I speak from experience btw, is the inability to sense the temperature of the water, in this case.

The mobility mob DISGUST ME.

They truly do. I hope they are boiled in their own pish.

Please, please, give this outfit all the grief they deserve.

Am I that much more intelligent than most posters on here? READ it is FREE when you spend over £39. Why are you all stating what price it is or was at place X? Totally irrelevant, most moronic post is the huge £9.99. Free is cheaper than £9.99 or infact 1 pence.
Not my kind of deal although I would like an inspection camera (£150). Tool case was better 'deal'.

@bargainhunter666

Nothing like a bit of modesty.

The point that was being made is the advert said "FREE Tap Light WORTH £14.99", however, someone pointed out that Maplin themselves have been selling it for £7.49, so not really worth £14.99 even by their own standards.

DID i MISS A POINT OF IT BEING FREE.... - but hardly free if you have to spend to get it, but then if you look at it if some one spends enough and gets it free and dont want it I could pass it on to my disabled parents :( then it would be free to them....lol

Just did as you suggested and sent an email to the owner of the site (see below)....

"Dear Whomever rips your customers off,

How dare you rip of disabled people buy charging £39.99 + (£4.99 p&p!) for the Colour Changing Tap light (Hot/Cold).

Play are selling the exact same item for £9.99 (with Free Shipping). Maplin are also offering the product for FREE (with Free shipping) when you spend over £39 online

Please could you give a reason to justify why you feel disabled people should have to pay such a premium for this product from yourselves, other than the fact they will usually be willing to pay whatever it costs for something that could benefit their health. Which is obviously something that a company like yourselves would be tempted to cash in on.

Thanks for your time"

just sent them as much contempt as I could muster- with some excellent swearing.
I will report these to some charities and maybe the local press, too. What they are doing is indefensible.

Happier am I.

Aside from their ludicrous mark-up of the tap-light (and some other stuff of the site-particulaly sensory equipment) they seem like an ok bunch. Lets not hang them out to dry until they have at least responded to one of our emails- their supplier could have ripped them off and they dont realise the retail value of the product.
This could get very damaging for the company if they dont respond promptly.
#26
Would go well with those 'funky' toilet seats and a sink that looks like an oyster.
#27
it seems local mobility have taken the product off their site
#28
Now just waiting for my reply!

LOL. Some people make me laugh.

"How dare you sell this product at the price you see fit!"

How dare you make profit!

How dare you make disabled people shop around to find the best price!

HOW DARE YOU !!!!!
