Boycott The SUN. They WANT you to be a fat lazy unemployed person, else they would be giving away free apples or carrots!!!

;-)

(only gets a warm from me as it's not a great deal unless you actually buy the sun normally)

Can you get a refund on just the paper (keeping the Crunchie of course) if you get it from Smiths & take it back with the reciept saying it was bought as a gift??!?!
#3
I hate it when people vote cold and don't explain why, it seems a good deal if you get he sun usually... also i don't think you can get a refund lol
#4
Sure it's only 20p for the Scottish Sun.

Okay for the TV and I can do the crossword!! - and with a free crunchie you can't complain. Voted hot

At last the Sun justifies its existence. 20p for a Crunchie bar is well worth it... but what's that huge wrapper all about??:whistling:
#9
Buy the paper normally so free Crunchie is a bonus, voting hot.
Thank Crunchie its Friday
#10
yeah the sun is 20p nationwide -
#11
No it's not. :(

link:
The Sun is selling at 20p in Scotland, where price-cutting has helped it overtake Trinity Mirror's tabloid The Daily Record to become the best-selling red top north of the Border.

In London and the South East, the price was cut in September from 35p to 20p, backed by a major advertising campaign.

Deal voted hot, anyways. ;)

suspended#14

I've cleaned up the thread. Please keep it relevant to the deal and not the quality of journalism that the Sun has given over the years and remember to treat other members with respect.

Further off-topic posts will lead to infractions. :)

Great! Well done! You let the abuse of Liverpool people go on for hours yet the moment one speaks up for them you delete the post...

Nice Bias there HOT UK Deals... not so hot on the impartiality!

Please... infract at will!!

It was deleted as soon as it was reported and we went through it... Also, you'll see, all of the posts were deleted.

Feel free to hit the report button next time you think we need to look at something and it will be dealt with very quickly.

A victory for ignorance again! the truth is told so the grubby ignorant little liars hit the report button and hey presto the truth dissapears.

I appreciate your dilemma as a moderator, I really do but it really does suck!

Justice for the 96... Dont buy the s*n even if theres a chocolate orange sellotaped to the high quality cover.

Just for the record I was the one (although there may have been others) that reported the ENTIRE thread as needing posts removed or edited by a Moderator.

I had pretty much only just logged on so had NOT been watching Liverpool, it's people & it's fans insulted for hours.

I'm a South Londoner with virtually no-interest in football (barring big internationals) & had no axe to grind with either side.

Then its a BIG coincidence.

I agree that the thread should have been pulled hours ago... Its just unfortunate that the abuse of calling people murderers and thieves was seen as a decent way to behave before your intervention. i wish you'd logged on hours ago and I really hope that none of the people who lost relatives at Hillsborough saw the tat written by non fans of Liverpool /the team and the city.

You could have used the report button (http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/report.gif) yourself, Gedfaz, and I would have cleaned the thread - it just hadn't been read in its entirety by a moderator yet.

If you wish to discuss the Sun's credibility then feel free to start a thread in Misc (as long as it's respectful and follows the code of conduct) but this isn't the place.

ooww, I can stuff chocolate on a Friday and then go home and clean out the guinea pigs cage with fresh newspaper all for 20p, sounds great....:p

Just so you all know,

On the voucher it says nothing about 1 per person!

And also they are valid until 15/02/08.
#33
Tesco just took 12 vouchers in one go... lol

Even tho on the voucher it says they pay 44p in tesco's they are 46p!

ummm crunchie!

Cheers Gedfaz. I appreciate the thread wasn't the place for a debate with someone who obviously has different views than mine. Never let the truth get in the way of a cheap chocolate bar offer.
