OK i am confused. It does not take much and just look at the time.

FREE delivery on all orders over £24.99

eBuyer will also deliver on Monday if orders placed during weekend

So do you make your purchase and schedule delivery for 'Monday' and they refund the £9.89 from your order or do you go for 'Super Saver' delivery option (5 days) but they deliver it on Monday ??

I am going for this one.. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125099

Cheers

What are Ebuyer like nowadays?

I haven't bought from them for a couple of years or so since they just used to have their e-notes system - which was a complete nightmare.

enotes system still used, but only if you need to return an item, etc. have used them maybe 15-20 times over the last year and all has been fast and smooth. Needed one return and that was ok too, although it did take an extra phonecall. Summary: I'd recommend them (but don't buy the cheap set of watches!).

I've noticed that they now take phone calls. With the old e-notes system I had to return something once and it took about 5 days just to get a reply and as I had to send a few more e-notes to get things sorted out it was a right pain.

Voted hot, thanks.
Almost ordered something from ebuyer yesterday, phew!
#20
Still not a clear answer on how this thing actually works. What do you enter for delvery time (Date)?
#21

Got to be the up to five days supersaver delivery - surely.

There's actually two seperate delivery deals going on here at eBuyer this weekend, probably done on purpose to confuse people... and it worked!

1) Orders over £24.99 inc vat placed prior to 11:59pm Sunday 9th Dec AND with Super Saver Delivery chosen will have free shipping. You will receive it within the shown timeframe at checkout. From Mon 12:00am onwards it will go back up to the usual "Orders over £49.99 inc vat" for free super saver delivery.

2) Any value order placed prior to 3:00pm Sunday 9th Dec AND with Next Day Delivery (NOT FREE) chosen will be dispatched this weekend and you'll receive it on Monday. Previously, next day orders placed on weekends were processed on the following Monday and you would have received it Tuesday.

So if you want to buy something cheap (still over £24.99 inc vat) but can wait for it then go for number 1. If you are desperate to receive something by Monday and are willing to pay for the next day delivery then go for number 2.

:santa:

The last time i used ebuyer, i had a problem so used their enote system - it's totally put me off ordering from them again. Took 9 days to get my first reply, then 17 days for the second reply (by which time i'd given up even checking the enotes, and i only just noticed i even had a reply 5 minutes ago when i checked)
This was 3 or 4 months ago though

Hi, Think that eBuyer have had a management buyout several months ago (possibly more) and they've undoubtedly improved vastly where their level of customer service is concerned IMHO. eNotes are still a bit of a nightmare however over-all eBuyer are very good.

Hope this is of some help.

I know exactly what you mean. I vowed a couple of years ago never to be subjected to their dire service ever again...but they do have some very tempting offers. ;-)

Cheers, gonna order one of these - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/129384

I've spent thousands on the site over the last 5 years, and returned around 6-7 items. Whilst I agree the e-note system is poor, they have always accepted the item back and fully refunded me, it just might take a few days to get anywhere.

Definitely a trusted site.

Now to go purchase 2 of them USB batteries :-D

I detest ebuyer, I have never had a single order go smoothly with them...but I always find myself back there ordering again because they often have awesome bargains, darn them. On my last order, they sent me a faulty machine that I had to return - it took about 13 days in total to process the whole thing and in that time the machine I was going to replace it with went up £15, I sent them an enote to ask if they'd do any thing about that, it took 7 days for them to reply and let me know that no, they would not - and in that time it had gone up another £10. So I waited and waited and waited hoping it'd come back down in price, it didn't and I couldn't wait for the item any longer so I went ahead and ordered it. 2 days after it arrived they dropped the price back down to what it was originally (- £25), I asked them if they'd do any thing about it - they wouldn't :x

I am sure they do it on purpose to spite me lol
#31
iv used them over 100 times

i had to complain once using the old enotes system as the parcel carrier had been too rough with a case and it was damaged

response was a little slow
but in all fairness got a full refund in the end

they are significantly cheaper than other online pc shops

if you get on free delivery offers or google checkouts then its just a bonus
#32
Yay - thank you for the heads up. I've been putting off buying some consumables for ages until this.
#33
I've used them for many years, only ever had to return two items and both times it was dealt with quickly and with no fuss at all.
My only gripe with them is that they still use City Link as their courier. They're awful, frequently say on their online tracker that they've attempted delivery and I will have to go to the depot to collect, when I've been in the house all day and noone has left anything, not even a card
#34
Used them for years with not a single issue.
ENotes is not the best agreed, but every retailer has to have a flaw somewhere!!!

Prices are def great, but always worth keeping an eye on another competitor too.....

They update this list daily

I know what the above poster means about ****** link!

But about ebuyer, like many people i stayed away from them for years because of the bad rep they had. However recently i ordered many times from them(with the £10 google offer).I had to return 3 items. In all cases ebuyer collected the items and either refunded me the full price,or sent me a brand new replacement.Great service!

One company to stay away from is komplett!
#36
over £25 is a 20% off the 5 day supersaver i.e. 60p off the £2.79 price
#37
still available
#38
Yup used loads, a couple of problems, but nothing major.
