I never liked the idea of Iceland when that junkie gut bucket was touting their wares - but went in for a recent booze offer.

We went to bring the car round to pick it up - and the girl in the shop said they would deliver it free if we started a 'Bonus Card' which was free and offered a 50 x £100 prize draw a month - and further discount vouchers.

Some of their prices seem pretty good - so we added some normal shopping as well, as it saved carting it back to the carpark.

They had a good selection of frozen veg at Lidl like prices, and many pizzas for £1 (that look like the £1,50 Farmfoods range).

So you now don't need to be a obese taxi driver lovin' hater of Frankie Boyle to use Iceland!

At -45 already clearly everyone knows somewhere that pays you to deliver your shopping - but just dont want to comment about it!
brand snobbery i feel is the problem here. i personaly have never any issues with their food
better than lidl in my opinion :) and fairly cheap :) i would use them myself this year, but just had a new asda open up across the road so they win :)

It's always been this i am afraid, so that does it no justice! I for one frequently shop at Iceland, because it is cheap, but its still good!

Your shopping would defrost otherwise

Went in ther this weekend looking for table salt, (don't ask), and it reminded me of how great a place it is for bargains!

Don't understand the cold votes!

H & R from me!

Yes - I was quite surprised at their prices - as many beat Lidl, Farmfoods, Marko and Costco (Aldi only seems any use for their fruit pricing).

All I can say is that the lack of critical comments is deal snobbery - further worsed by using that fat burd to represent an otherwise pretty good shop (with free delivery).

The only think I would criticise them on was most things were pretty high on fat compared to what is available elsewhere.

But crisps is crisps and pizza is pizza!!!

Two lots of rep on this post too - and no criticism - so its a phobia rather than anything justified keeping it low.

Its Iceland - its freezing!

(I got shot of the TV - so I don't know who fronts their ad campaigns now.)
I like the shop, all sorts of non frozen offers turn up in there. Must do the bonus card thing. Free delivery is going to be handy in the summer, we're way out of town.
Its not exactly a deal but it is useful for people that don't know. Heat added.
