Remember, some of the goods sold on this site might be past their “best before” date but are never past their “use by” dates.
Selling products that have passed their “use by” date carries serious health risks. However “best before” date relates to the optimum quality of the product. The UK Government Food Standards Agency has plenty of information about the use of “best before” dates and what this actually means.
