6 Days only - 1,000,000 free seats. No charges, no taxes, no fees*, totally free.

*I do believe they charge a small fee if you pay by credit card, but I don't think DEBIT cards attract this fee.

Fares include taxes, fees & charges
This should help! You sould be able to get one penny fares on the following routes:

London Stansted to: Aarhus * Bremen * Brussels (Charleroi) * Derry * Dublin * Düsseldorf * Eindhoven * Esbjerg * Glasgow * Hamburg * Kerry * La Rochelle * Maribor (Slovenia) * Oslo (Torp) * Turin * Valladolid * Vitoria (Bilbao)

London Luton to: Dublin * Milan (Bergamo)

East Midlands to: Derry * Dublin * Knock - Ireland West

Liverpool to: Aberdeen * Derry * Dublin * Milan (Bergamo) * Shannon

Glasgow Prestwick to: Derry * Dublin * London (Stansted) * Shannon

Newcastle to: Dublin

Bournemouth to: Dublin * Madrid * Marseille Provence MP2 * Nantes (Brittany) * Shannon

Durham Tees Valley to: Dublin

Doncaster Sheffield to: Dublin * Pisa (Florence)

Bristol to: Dublin

Edinburgh to: Shannon

Leeds Bradford to: Dublin

Manchester to: Dublin * Shannon

Remember that Fridays going out and Mondays coming back may well be more expensive. Check the small print are there are some dates excluded (some dates July/August I think) and also the "1p no taxes no charges" fares are only available Mon-Thu.

Feel free to add to my rather low rep! hint hint! ;-)

Found a 1p flight an was charged tax and fees :(
#5
I don't see how.

I'm just doing one now for me and my OH.

Total cost of £0.04

Were both the outward and inward flights 1p? If so then there will not be any taxes or charges. If one was, say, £14.99 and the other 1p, then you will be charges tax etc.

Remember there is a blackout period from 16th Jul '07 - 31st Aug '07 where you pay taxes etc.

I tried a return flight from Glasgow to Dublin leaving on the 1st June and coming back on the 2nd June (an overnight one). The one on the 2nd June was 1p with no taxes and fees added, but the 1st June had taxes and fees totalling about £20 per person.

I then tried to find an earlier date flying out, returning on the 2nd June still, but any earlier dates had taxes and fees applying - and the return flight on the 2nd June changed to having taxes and fees added.

Typical.

looked at a day trip to dublin in june
flying out in morning back at night
flight for 1p no problem
but taxes made total cost 75 quid
that was from edinburgh
#13
Might be something to do with flights having to be booked 14 days in advance?
#14
If you select the 1p web fare taxes ARE added.
You need to look for regular fares at 1p.

How do you tell the difference without going through all the rigmarol?

It says when it comes up with the flights for each day.

Thanks, just booked up a day trip to Dublin in October for 2 adults and 2 children.

Total cost was £16.08

1p x 4 x 2 = 8p
And stung for £4 x 4 for having no baggage, priority checkin. Couldn't see an option to remove this. Only other option was 10 quid per bag per person!

So, nice day out to Dublin for not a lot of money!

Thanks OP.

Sussed too late that you can remove the PRIORITY boarding, but for peace of mind in getting the 4 seats together on both flights, it's probably worth it, so not too fussed. Didn't seem to get charged the 70p for using Visa/Delta card.

9th July. Day trip for 2 to Dublin.

1p per sector and 70 per sector card fee.

Total- £2.84.

Lovely job!! Thanks Neilmonk :-)

PS. If you're hand luggage only select 0 bags and then click "Remove" to lose the £4 fee.
