Was in B&Q the other day looking for a kitchen and now have managed to set up a trade card in store since im a 'property developer' now and have been invited to the Trade-Point VIP event...
TBH I think its open to everyone as they have a sign up sheet on the desk to stick your name down.
You get free food on the day, a tour of the store (yawn) but then a 10% discount code of any trade orders on the day.
Im awaiting to buy my kitchen and so should save a few hundred quid. I posted about the landlords show the other day but this event seems more appealing as its shorter and has FREE FOOD.
Plus they have goody bags and freebies on the day apparently.
It seems to work to just say you are a developer as they dont seem to do any checks when setting up a trade card...
Also if you ask to set up a TradeUK card apparently they give you 2 months interest free on everything you spend...
