Add an item price £39 + to your basket and enter the voucher code 'freegift'.
Theres an glitch on the offer of a free gift with a £39 spend, the free gift is a Plug-In Power, Energy & CO2 Meter worth £15 and if you remove it from the basket after the voucher code is applied it still gives you a £15 discount.

Mine is exactly the same, credit card payment and authorisation £24.97, then when Maplins order conformation came through in email, it was for the full amount i.e. £39.79

even with £15 off you are struggling to get anything good at maplins
#21
Used a CC said total amount debited and payment taken as the lower amount :)
Will check my card statement

I ended up getting this:
http://offers.e-centives.com/siflo/index.cfm?s=aWQ9YjdmM2QxMmQtNDkyNy00ZjJkLWFjOWUtNzFjYzZkYWUxNTgxJmxvPTBHM0FWMiZlPXBhbWVsYSU1RmdyYWhhbTEwMDglNDBob3RtYWlsJTJFY29t&CFID=919065&CFTOKEN=71489114

for 34.99 delivered.
Quidco tracked the higher price -VAT at £2.55 meaning just over 10p per GB if it all works out.
#24
thanks
#25

I noticed this as well but the 320GB is probably too big for the person Im getting it for so this woulda been overkill.

This was a Three MiFi for £35 delivered until a stoopid mod got rid of it.

TDK 50GB BD-R's are £4.99 there. I haven't found them cheaper than that anywhere.
So, if you buy 8, using this trick, you'll get them for £3.50 each including delivery. Sweet deal.

nice one, was looking at the mifi earlier and decided at £35 it was a good buy hope its worth it.
#33
Thanks to the OP for this. Worked a treat so far. Ordered a 9" LCD TV for the wife and it went thru the card payment authourisation at the -£15 price. Let's hope they don't come back and up the price if they realise the error
#34
Just ordered the samsung s1. 1.8 mini hardrive. £49.99. Getting it for £35. But email from maplin said I was going to pay full price but maplin invoice on web page said £35. See witch price I get it for. Going back if I have to pay full price.
#35
Nice but no major deals really
#36
is it safer to pay by paypal?

thanks

Actually, delivery is free. The carts shows -£15 and adds delivery. Pay via paypal, it also shows P&P, but the invoice shows P&P as zero.

I confirm I paid £25 and delivery was FREE.

Paypal account showed £25 payment - free delivery!
