Just been to Asda & picked up their December 'Asda Magazine'. On page 8 it says

'It's a wrap! Here's a great time-saving Christmas idea. Asda is offering a free instore gift-wrapping service. Simply show us your receipt and we'll wrap your gifts bought in our store. Maximum three gifts per person, until 23 December.'

Wonderful. I can't wait to see their little faces on Christmas morning when they unwrap a litre of milk, 4 wholemeal rolls and 100g or honey roast ham.

There needs to be a prize for the most absurd item wrapped. What's the smallest item they sell? chewing gum?

Zebra3 - you mean a litre of yoghurt! :D

Where I work we gift wrap (not free though I hasten to add!) and it always amazes me as to the amount of people who will have us wrap for an extra pound per gift..........but, it usually is fellas!!! :giggle:

In my store the wrapping service is only offered on friday saturday and sunday. Think this is per the brief and most stores will follow the same plan.
Just heads up if anyone was planning shopping on a nice quiet day!
