Order the Limited Edition Halo 3 XBox 360 console from Amazon UK before midnight October 19th and claim a free copy of Halo 3 (redemption code CIPN3J66), or before midnight October 17th for a free copy of Project Gotham Racing 4 (redemption code 3IHO3PJ6). It has always seemed somewhat silly that the limited edition console includes everything but the game itself, so I guess this is the next best thing :)

These have the new 65nm CPU's, for anyone that is picky about stuff like that. I got one of these back around Halo 3 launch day - I don't know why people moan about it not having Halo 3, surely anyone who would want a Halo 3 console would want the choice to have a normal, collectors or legendary version of the game anyway.

Agreed and any true Halo 3 fan would also paint their lounge the same colour as this console............. wouldn't they....... er perhaps not?!

And it looks far less ugly than this monstrosity for sure, really not liking that limited edition. Would love to see a limited edition Bioshock 360 (Not just faceplate), would think with the 1950's art decor designing of that game would look awesome.

That is one ugly xbox, I thought the xbox 1 (halo) SE was ugly but this falls into the 'MINGING' category!

The "stock" pictures of the Halo 360 do it no justice at all, the orange highlighting is far less "shiny" than it appears in the picture, and the console is a proper olive drab colour, not borderline puke as it appears in the pictures.

I for one am happy with mine, for those who are concerned about how it clashes with other AV equipment or their "lounge", well you shouldn't really be thinking about buying a special edition console then should you? Most of my AV is black and the tone of the olive drab doesn't clash at all.

But, taste is taste, I love it, I know other people will hate it. Considering what other special edition consoles the UK has been "gifted" over the past several years (Pikachu edition N64 anyone?):

I'd say this effort isn't that bad.

No, they're right it is fugly. Couple that with the previously mentioned 20gb hard drive and the fact that if you want to upgrade to the larger 120gb drive it will look even worse as that is only available with the silver trim.

65nm is a nice to have but all production consoles will have that soon and it isn't proven to solve the problems (there are already failures around with RROD). Anything that helps though is good as my perfectly pretty white one died last night and is off to the Microsoft repair man today. Bet if you bought the Picachu N64 it would last longer.

Considering the Pro (Premium) is only £195 now it seems a little steep £280 just cos it's green lol
