I thought it's cool!
Not sure if it's hot deal?!
But £8.33 effective per month and 18m contract seems attractive to me...

What are they like at paying the cashback though?

18 month contracts are redeemed in 5 equal stages after bill 4, 8, 12, 15, and 18.
FIVE claims, mess-up with one and you may be in trouble oO
#3
£25 quidco or £30 topcashback :) as wel
#4
Mentioning what network would have been useful.

As it's T-Mobile, no good for me

Feel sorry for you, the OP just wasted 2 seconds of your life because you had to click on go to deal.

Not just me I'm sure. Should be easy enough for the OP to sort by adding it to the title :)

Sorry, It's T- Mobile network, £30 per mont, 18 months contract (did I mention all?)
This company seems to be part of CPW and not had probs getting cash back in the past(if followed the rules)
I presume, easy to create reminds in 'wildfire' to send the bills;)

How good is this phone compare to 'desire' or 'iphones'

Any pro, thro light?oO

Cheers!
#8
Dammit why didn't I got for that instead of the 11mths free one @ £25?
#9
Will send that back and go for this. £125 after Quidco / 18 mths = £6.94 a month. Absolute steal!

Glad Mobiles.co.uk cancelled my order today!
#10
Looks really good, I know quidco is ok but I read a bit about the redemption problems on the money saving expert site and and it's put me off, I am very pessimistic and don't trust anyone so I'll pass but it's a great deal if you can get your money.
#11
Hot IF you get the cashback. If you mess up then £30/month for 18 months would be awful. I don't like cashback (my rule is choose what you want before cashback and view cashback as a bonus) but if you're organised then go for it!
#12
surely you can setup this phone to remind you to sort the cashback out?

Android 2.2 will be released for this phone by the end of Q3 i.e Sep 30th at the latest: http://www.androidauthority.com/index.php/2010/06/29/android-2-2-froyo-coming-to-htc-wildfire-legend-and-desire-later-this-year/

Whats up with the affiliated link? I think there not allowed here. Personally, I would not expect to recieve excellent customer care from that site.
#15
whats the unlimited internet size? 500mb or 1 gig?
#16
Hot deal!

I think I still may go for the other deal posted for the same site and phone. I would never come close to needing that many minutes or texts, plus its a fairly sizeable amount coming out of your account each month for a phone (is to me anyway). That deal was 300 cross-network mins + 300 texts + Unlimited data • 24 months. £15 a month but they give you £50 back after 90 days with no redemption so it works out at £12.92 a month, handy because the last time I did this cheque back business with e2save four years back it proved to be a real ball ache. Still if your organised and don't mind £30 disappearing from your account each month then this is a steal.

Hi, Just been reading about this company on MSE and cashback issues are being experienced. Sometimes these too good to be true offers are indeed too good to be true. They have tightened up their pay by dates and issues experienced in getting cashback forms / vouchers. Take care if accepting this deal although it would be good if they actually paid out the cashback.
#18
Seems like a right bargain to me, shame i don't need a new phone. Although really tempted to go for this and get rid of my older HTC as the Wildfire looks great. Just like the HTC desire but alot smaller.

This is £120 after £30 cashback from Topcashback.co.uk. That works out at £6.67/month overall :)

Incase people are wondering the difference between this and HTC desire:

Wildfire Vs Desire:
528mhz vs 1GHZ
240x320 vs 480x800
384mb ram vs 576mb

The rest of the specs are pretty much the same, so its basically just a smaller and lower res screen, slower cpu and less ram.

This is quite a nice video review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JBnHhWRJ3g

They are completely different products. The Wildfire is a budget smart phone with slow processor, and a poor screen that's also very low res.

The Desire is a top notch smart phone witha cutting edge processor and a lovely screen with high enough res to use it properly.

Have you tried browsing the internet on a screen with the res of a Wildfire? Have you seen the difference in screen quality? Have you used both phones? The comparisons just don't sum up the actual practical difference to be fair.

Is the OP using his own commission link?

Mods could you check please!!!

Rubbish, mods can check!
Trying to spread the good deal, not for pennies...

btw i THINK this is unlocked, from searching the company on google i think all their handsets are unlocked.

During the checkout you can remove the "FREE 3 months insurance" so that you don't have to cancel this in the future :)

It doesn't have a front facing camera so if it does i presume you would only be able to use voice, possibly see the person on the other end maybe. I'd quite like to know this too.

Hi, the wildfire has a smaller screen and slower processor than the desire, this seems to have the same spec as the Hero, the desire predecessor.
I have the HTC hero, and I would hope the battery life is better on this phone than on the Hero.

Good deal for £6.84 per month.
Anyone that gets will love the software and the gadgets and customization you can do all for free with the android phones

I don't think they are part of CPW, as the web site says "BuyMobilePhones.net is the largest independantly owned web-based mobile phone retailer"

Hmm, i don't use video anyway so that's no problem. Just the voice is fine if it can.

a major problem with 3rd party tmobile resellers is that they get put on a throttled 1gb limit data plan rather than the 3gb tmobile offer directly. some people have been able to get tmob to switch them back over but only a very small amount of people after a LOT of legwork - the resellers are no help at all.

all that said though, voted hot - great deal as long as you stay on top of the cashbacks

it seems as though no skype is out im afraid, there was a 3rd party skype lite but that had very little functionality, i'm sure a good one will come out soon.

Has this expired now? The price is showing as £13.33 effective per month. The 13 month cashback redemption has dropped to 10 months...
