if you go onto the space centre website there is quite a lot to do.there is imax films, shows and exhibitions. you can go onto kennedyspacecenter.com and look at attractions. the free child ticket expires 31/12/11 though.

I don't think you'll get a two year USA visa for $10!

Perhaps you are meaning a 24 month ESTA, USA Visa waiver program, which costs $14 per person?

Kennedy space centre used to be free to visit, and for that reason, I'm out.

;)

Just be aware that an ESTA isn't a Visa. it's part of their visa waiver scheme..

Umm.......when was that ?

I first went in 1992 and you had to pay then to go on the tours. Red or Blue if I remember correctly.

You better be quick, they're ending this June / July if you want to see a shuttle take off.

Good deal, if I were going this year rather than next I would definitely be taking advantage of this.

Just got back today from Florida. We went to the Space Centre last Wednesday - a really good, full day out. Lots to do and see. The kids really enjoyed the 3D imax film about Hubble (I thought they might get a little bored, but it was really, really good - even if you're not that much into space!) We then drove back to Cocoa beach on Friday (1.5 to 2 hour drive in traffic from Kissimee) to see Endeavour take off but, just as we got there (and there were hundreds, if not thousands turned up to watch it), they scrubbed the launch due to a technical fault! Bummer. Ah well - enjoy!

I first went in 1989, general admission was free in 1992 also, but as you correctly state, you did have to pay for the tours, and the Imax theatre show also.

General admission is no longer free, as it was back in the day! :D

Does anyone know if the kids eat free card has an expiry date?
#19
the kids eat free card says 2011/2012 on the front. there is nothing apart from it expires 90 days after first use on the back in the terms and conditions. my free kids passes and adult are valid until 15 january 2012
