My first go at submitting a deal, hopefully it's all correct :)

"Zoo Boo" Saturday 24th Oct - Sunday 1st Nov
FREE entry for children in Fancy Dress or with a pumpkin.

There's a celebration theme at South Lakes as we join some of our spooky friends to celebrate the up and coming wedding of Dracula and his bride - check out the restaurant for a glimpse of just some of the midnight guests.

Activities in 2009 - Lots of not too scary fun

Fancy Dress Parade 3pm: At 3pm every day join the fancy dress parade where you can trick and treat the keepers.

NEW The Great Pumpkin Hunt: Find pumpkins hidden around the park, pop your completed trail into the cafe to claim your prize (50p charge)

New enjoy a Spooky Skate as the park's ice rink opens everyday.*

Pumpkin Carving: At the back of the cafe horrible, terrifying carve your own scary face. *

Best Pumpkin Competition - judged on the picnic area at the end of the parade.

Decorate your own witches hat - at the back of the cafe.*

Fancy Dress Competition - judged on the picnic area at the end of the parade.

Plus all the favourites throughout the day - hand feeding lemurs, penguins and giraffes, Tiger talk & feeding Lion hunt

Highly recommend this place -one of the best animal parks I have been to for being family friendly and up close.

edit- YES IT IS!!! I love this place, fab find. heated. pity its a thousand miles away...(nearly)
We were there two weeks ago and we loved it!

We hand fed giraffes, lemurs and wallabys .........all the aminals looked healthy and very well cared for. Heat added.

Wish we lived a bit closer.:)

Must take the grandchildren, they ll love doing that :)
