On first reading this it sounds ok but if you look at the terms and conditions below, it does state all packages are for 30 days only ,,, so I assume that if you top up £10 you have to top up again after 30 days. For someone like me who is a very mature age it would not be of any use. The other thing I am having difficulty with is establishing what text messages cost.

Soory I forgot yo list the t/c
4.12 Each pack runs for 30 days or until you have used your minutes or messages, whichever is first. Any unused minutes and messages at the end of the 30 day period will be lost. If you buy more than one of each pack at the same time they will run one after the other such that the second pack starts as soon as the first pack is finished. You can have up to two packs of each type (voice or text) on a single account at a time.

This is a good deal if you call abroad much cheaper than landline or other mobiles

Hi

I have been using Lebara for a year for international calls and this is my concluison:

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROVIDER.

Their international rates are not competitive
They cut more money than you talk
You cannot always get a line quickly to your desired extension
Customer service is extremly poor to respondong queries

hello mate, go to check with three, they have 'sim zero' one month rolling contract, which you can add 5 pound for 'internet max' which gives you 1Gb data allowrence.
for the guys who looking for international call
go to three well if you are heavy user, the 15pound international saver add-on gives you 3000 mins to almost all around world.

These lot have guys that hassle you in any big town centre, every day. I am not surprised at adamnsu's conclusion.

Lyca mobile is much cheaper and more reliable and has competitive rates.

I think Lebara is okay if you are not concerned about how much the company is overpricing you

If you have a decent plan with enough inclusive minutes or access to a landline with free calls e.g. free evening and weekend calls or broadband which allows you to use SIP, just use localphone.com for local geographical number and significantly lower international calling rate that either Lebara or Lyca
