Your Audi has to be more than three years old. As an Audi owner you can now benefit from having your next test carried out for free.

Just thought I'd add Audi T&C here to:

'Terms and conditions
Offer covers the cost of the MOT test charge. Privately owned Audi vehicles only. Cannot be redeemed for cash. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Re-tests will be chargeable. Excludes Northern Ireland and Channel Isles. Vehicles must be aged 2 years and over.'

not working for me either

Just put 'audi mot' into Bing Search Engine & it was 5th item down. Title was 'Audi UK > Owners Area > Servicing with Audi > Free MOT'

Sounds like a good deal to me. Especially if your Audio is getting on a bit...

"...As an Audi owner you can now benefit from having your next test carried out for free. So you can sit back and relax while we take care of your MOT.

Alternatively, you can choose to upgrade to receive free MOT Protection if you pay £49.99 for your MOT test. It means we'll cover the cost of any necessary repair work for up to £750 (inc VAT) if your car doesn't pass its MOT test."

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to call in the Moderators here. This is a multiple repeat post.

Cold from me. Icy cold.

Still cant get it. When you get onto the audi page the link to claim your free mot doesn't work.
#12
Yeah, knew about this.

The missus has a TT and its been FREE for a few years now.
Saying that they always manage to find something to charge your for ie Tyres, Disks, Brakes etc etc so you never get it for 0.

Just checking the T&C which are a bit nasty...i.e.

Car must :-
a) have had their last service carried out in line with the
manufacturer’s recommended service schedule by a VAT
registered garage; and

b) are less than seven years old; and

c) have covered fewer than 100,000 miles from the date of
registration; and
d) are either
(i) cars that have just passed an MOT test
or
(ii) cars up to 3 years of age with a period of not less than 3 months
remaining before the first MOT test becomes legally due or
(iii) cars between 3 years and up to 7 years of age with a period of
not less than 6 months remaining before the next MOT test becomes
legally due.

I like the way they specify the car must be over three years old. If the car was less than 3 years old it doesnt need an MOT anyway.
#15
Harumph, so my 10yr old 150k mile Audi A4 lovingly serviced every 6,000 miles by me is not worthy. Boo!

They were referring to the date when you can apply for the free voucher i assume. i.e. 3months before it is 3 years old and no earlier then that date.

My 10 year old RS4 was done by Wimbledon Audi no probs, passed straight through and didn't cost me a penny. Fantastic service.

If i didn't think it was going to sail through would go for the £50 option which is the government price pretty much for an MOT anyway!

I wouldn't, however, trust them to service the car etc.!

If I understand this offer correctly, shouldn't the title of the deal be
FREE MOT for 4-6 Year Old Audi ONLY!

Great deal!!!

Just need to buy the Audi.. :?
#21
So how did you get it free if your car is over 7yrs old?

Maybe they hoped to fleece you for new turbo's, hi-spec brakes etc. Lol!

Wouldn't give Audi the time of day to work on my S3 anymore the amount of damage they've done to my car over the years with there so called servicing unbelievable, and the nuts and fixings that they never put back they must have a box full every week. Only defence i can give them is there allocated time to do the work is too tight for the technicians:x

Really? A full box every week? A tad exaggeration maybe?

Good deal especially as an MOT is £50 which you can use to buy the Audi MOT Protection

Only problem is that it applies to the next service and not the one your having :-(
