I agree with podd2000... e2save are nothing but trouble, and i'd never use them.
Any company that brings up so many bad stories when google'd are not gonna get my business.

I agree, have a contract with e2save did everything right when sending in vouchers for cashback and they're refusing to pay. Stay clear

Lol well all I can say is you are all either very unlucky or not quite telling the truth...

They are a subsidary of the carphonewarehouse so their service is pretty similar, only problem is they don't have physical stores. But as I said I followed their T&C's perfectly and got my cheques very quickly, unlike coolnewmobile who took months to process and send me my cheques.

The main aim and intent behind the vast majority companies offering cash back deals is to shaft the customer at the first opportunity. Dont give them your time and hard earned cash, they dont deserve it.

Actually their specific aim is to make profit for their shareholders.

The one thing they are not are charities giving away free contracts for little or no effort / risk.

AS has been said here over and over again - cashback deals are not for the feint hearted and yes there are risks ala CoolNewMobile Mobile Outlet etc etc, but....

... with the big players if you stick exactly to the rules and are well prepared then you will get your money back, but the one thing is for sure, it is getting harder.

To be fair my first contracts years ago with OSPS (part of CPW) was faultless but the last ones with e2save did take more effort, phone calls etc, but all was paid out in full.

I have seen tears and tantrums in the office I work in after recommending cashback deals but when I dig further, the persons concerned have cut corners, made assumptions and not read the T&Cs correctly then whine when it goes wrong and obviously blame the retailer, when in fact it was their error that caused the problems.

hope that makes things clear

I sent my 4th Month Bill in for the first cashback payment.
It arrived 'too early'.
I phoned to check if they had it. They said yes we got - but it was too early (2 days) so we destroyed it.
"Oh why was that?"
"Data protection act"
"Rubbish - nothing to do with it"

"OH OK - then ermm - we do not have storage facilities"

"Why do you need all this nonsense anyway - just send me the cash back when It's due"

" We can't do that because we need to hear from The Carphone Warehaouse that you have paid your bills"

"You are the Carphone Warehouse - the Very Same company - not a subsidiary, whatever - you are the same company!!"

"Oh are we??? I never knew that"

as said before they are not a charity.

If they paid all the cashback automatically how would they make any money. sorry buts that's the main pupose of CPW group - to make money from its customers.

To balance the records, I had three issues that I had to call tem about.

1. no cashback paid after 28 days. Answer - sorry about that whats the RM SD number - oh yes we that was delivered to us, we will pay immediately - cheques arrived few days later

2. cashback paid on one out of two submitted in same envelope. Answer oh we made a mistake with your ported numbers we will send the missing cheque soon. Result sent cheques for both accounts so made one extra payment.

3. Claim sent too late. Returned papers and i called them. Oh yes you were right (it was actually my mistake on the covering leter, used the same as previous claim) Answer, just fax us your bills and we will apy immediately - cheques arrived few days later.

So yes there is soem chasing if things go wrong, but yes theytdo pay up - UNLESS YOU MAKE A MISTAKE WHICH MANY DO !!!!!!

Some interesting opinions on this subject, the basic point I was trying to make in my initial comment was.......businesses create these cash back deals in the hope of wrong-footing the customer, deliberately over-engineered in conception as a calculated gamble that a good proportion of their customers will fall foul for whatever reason.

Yes business is business and I appreciate they exist to make profit but I choose not to deal with companies that operate underhanded methods to make that profit and with what really amounts to contempt towards its customers. Okay if many people taking out these cash back deals are not as switched on to the agreement as they should be then that's very unfortunate but by the same token what does it say about a business who's policy is clearly to capitalise on such weaknesses. If some of these companies broke into the auto trade would you strike a deal to buy and finance a car from them?....I very much doubt it....so why buy a phone from them!

quick question, do e2save give detailed information about cashback? last time i used them they gave very vague information about which bills they wanted and the time frame they wanted it. With a combination of guesswork and luck i got them all in correctly.

I ask because i recently got a cashback deal for my dad with dialaphone and the give very specific dates and instructions and also paid very quickly but like e2save have many horror stories when googled :S

Also does anyone know if cheques are sent out or redemptions are added to the airtime balance?

Thanks in advance

Last time I used e2save - about a year ago - they give you a planner to indicate which months to cliam in or they also have a "your account2 section on their website wgich tells you which bills to send in.

They pay by cheque

Hot deal - as long as you remeber to send bills in time. I've had 4-5 cashback deals with e2save in the past without any problems.

When I got my documentation for my Cashback phone - it refeered to this 'cashback document which listed the dates or submitting bills etc." I didn't have one.

I called them and they said they couldn't possible send me one - they do not have spares.

They gave me the dates of cashback bill submissions. They never mentioned that any received too early would be binned - JUST LIKE MINE!

EliTom
