If you're an existing Virgin Media customer they should give you 2 months free plus free virgin to virgin minutes - that's what I was offered last week.

I just got this phone on the 250 mins and unlimited internet/textx when it was £22 for an 18 mth contract. V impressed with phone, free nokia email, free nokia GPS for life.

Prefer it to i-phone any day!

If you honestly think this can rival the blackberry 9700 or the 8900, you're very much mistaken.

Superior in every aspect.

Blackberry > E72.

I bought this phone recently re my link http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/608895/nokia-e72-19-99-and-15pm-for-300-mi?page=4 and I was pulling my hair our for a day or two but now that ive figured out how to work the damned thing i have to say its a pretty impressive bit of kit.

I have the older E71, and it can do everything a Blackberry can do without having to pay extra for the BIS service. I have Nokia Mail pushing 3x pop and 2 x Imap email address to my E71, I have Mail for Exchange syncing my Google calendar and contacts to my phone, Google buzz and new OVI maps + AGPS, MSN and Google Talk using the Chat app, HSDPA 3.5g support.

I thought the new Ovi maps were currently only available for the E72? If not then could you let me know how you got it as I have an E71 and would really like the maps!

At the moment I am running Ovi maps 3.01 09 wk44, which I downloaded from nokia.com/maps, but the 3.3 beta should be coming to the E71 in the next few weeks.

This Phone is Ancient and in no way shape of form a rival to any current blackberry device.

Its not even that good of a deal (when you take into account the phone is worth very little).

You can get a Blackberry 8520 curve on orange on Panther 25 which includes 400 mins Unlimited Text's and Unlimited Internet BB services.

You can get the same tariff on a brand new Bold 9700 if you pay £80 for the phone (and thats a £449 handset).

Dont understand why this deal has been voted hot...
#16
The 8520 doesn't support hsdpa or 3G connections, it uses GPRS for data connections so is much slower, it is a low end phone that is far inferior in build quality than the E71/E72.

The E72 is the newer enhanced version of the E71 and has only been on sale for a couple of months. The E72 competes directly with the Bold 9000/9700.

lol
you wish...

Well the blackberry has a much better screen than the nokia... the fact the screen on this is only 320x240 is pretty bad...

On the other hand I think all the blackberrys have a plastic casing whereas the nokia has a really slick metal casing.

Blackberry has better features overall though from what I've seen.

Ha, I try not to be critical of people on this site but you really are a muppet!! This phone is easily comparable to the Blackberry (and based on most review sites is higher rated) and if it is worth very little, how come they sell on ebay for between £250-£300??

I suggest you do a bit of research before you reach for your keyboard next time!

Does anybody know if this is available in black? It only seems to be available on virgin and T-mobile in grey, but the black version just looks that bit nicer.
