First time posting a deal, did search so hoping its not a duplicate.

Quidco are giving £10 cashback on activated PAYG O2 Sims, so if you order the sim and top it up with £10 to activate it, the cashback makes the card and top up free.

Mod edit: moved to deals forum as you need to spend £10

You can always use it for O2 priority moments. Even if you don't get the £10 from quidco, you'll make it up easily from the freebies there :)

It maybe worth it for some who just want access to O2's priority moments offers.

Thnk that's an old one 'Promotion closes for activation 23:59 28 days after order date (final date will be 28 June 2014' but was a similar offer.

I'd pay £10 for the Priority app not to crash constantly.

Not a freebie as you have to topup first....needs moved to deals.

I'd argue that, as you get all your money back, then this is free.

This deserves way more heat; the O2 priority app gives out freebies on its own all the time, and you get a free sim with free credit what do you have to lose ??

Argue all you like but a freebie on this site means not having to pay anything....plus cashback is not guaranteed.

It should be in deals:

1) You have to pay money initially to get the cash back.
2) Cash back is never guaranteed.

You are right though, it's potentially FREE if the cash back pays, also as people mention it's useful for the O2 Priority Moments app. Otherwise it's a great post OP, I'm just stating it should ideally be in deals. It would also probably get more views/heat there.

Does it? From the sites help (http://www.hotukdeals.com/help):

Deals can be any product or service people can buy for a bargain, including two-for-one sales, reduced prices, and clear out sales.

Freebies are things you can get for free! Whether it's a free download or a free pair of socks, you can post it here. Free items included with a purchase are considered deals, since a purchase is still required.

So it doesn't actually sit clearly within any definition, but still seems to me that it should be a freebie.

It looks to me like this is only if you top up with one of their bundles, not for regular occasional PAYG.

It's been moved to deals as I said :-)

how can I get o2 priority moments?

Order a free O2 SIM card from their website.
When it arrives, put it into your phone/a spare phone.
Get the O2 Priority Moments app on your phone.
Enter the phone number for the O2 SIM (it'll be on the card the SIM is attached to, and on Android phones it'll also be in Settings > Status).
You'll receive a text on the O2 SIM. Enter the code in the text into to app.
Done.

Do I have to complete the "Mobile Data Account" info and select/buy a package to activate it? I've tried sending the O2 Priority code but haven't recevied anything yet.

Using an iPad and O2 iPad SIM.

No idea if you can do it via the iPad, never tried that. I always put it into my phone or a spare phone (since you'll only need the SIM for 2 minutes).

Well it was an iPad specific SIM I ordered. Won't fit in my other phone without cutting it down. Will have to see if I can find a temp unlocked phone that it'll fit!

NOTE: O2 Priority doesn't work with iPad SIM cards!

Now I just have my fingers crossed the Quidco cashback tracks at least!

Anyone received their £10 cashback?

I have the SIM activated and topped up on my iPad but nothing tracked on Quidco yet.

Quidco won't let you raise a cashback claim either: "Unfortunately we are unable to investigate transactions for this merchant"

And please note:

It works perfectly on my Lumia 1020 (and was recently updated with a swish new interface). What OS are you using it on?

Gingerbread! I know it's old, but if they say it will work on GB then it should do so. Anyway, coincidentally just put it on my Moto G and it's fine now. £10 saved.

You can activate a payg sim without money.

Quidco awful, loads of transactions declined for no reason. I only use TCB now, much more reliable.

I think it is not possible with O2 sim. I tried but didn't work.

My experience has been the complete opposite. TCB cancel cashback claims whereas Quidco don't. & when there is a problem, Quidco have live chat support who have resolved issues for me within hours.

I would never use TCB - even if the cashback rate was significantly higher.

Yes, to be fair, maybe I was unlucky with the merchants with quidco and lucky with TCB.

o 2 site is confusing payg says per month. Does the credit expire ? Only interested for the priority moments but not if I have to keep topping up.
