I popped into Currys Megastore in Wednesbury (the one off the M6, Jct 9) and the guys there said if you bought a current model iMac or MacBook you got Office for free. Not bad...

    Great deal. Seen some good deals on Mac's before, but never this. I think Office is worth £99 or even more on Mac.

    I spoke to the Apple Rep in the store and he said it was only the Megastore in Wednesbury that was doing the offer.

    Might be useful for a few people - if you work for the NHS (and some other govt deps) then you can get 2 copies of MS Office for Mac 2008 for £17 each.
