Decent drizzler for oil or vinagerette and solid flat pasta bowl 6 inches across when you buy any 3 itallian range items.

Now luckily that includes crated parmeasen mini packs at 49p each - which I love as i have that handy for taking any dish to a new taste, but dont use enough of the stuff to warrant buying a lump of it.

3 of those for £1.47, and you get the pack that is £4.50 other wise.

These were flying off the shelfs at lunch time, and there was not much parmeasan left in Edinburgh.

A Hot Deal for sure..

I take it this deal is in-store only? I'll check out the Glasgow Partick branch
#6
Sounds good! Yep can you confirm if its just in store only...ta!?
#7
Which Edinburgh store were you in? I might head over to the Gyle tomorrow to see what's left, but if they were selling out today it probably wouldn't be worthwhile.
#8
I'm sending my partner in tomorrow,he will buy the Parmasan if thats the cheapest item,we can't have Parmasan cos its not vegetarian cheese so he give it to someone at work.

the edinburgh store was the gyle

if the parmesean is sold out the next cheapest is fresh pasta which is also a quality item to have in the fridge as it keeps for a while and is ready for ages.

as a completely random aside can i also recommend the fresh shelled sweetcorn and garden peas - they are mega sweet if the sell by is well in the future - one draw back though, the stuff is air freight from kenya - keep the food miles down and the produce local peeps!

No sign of parmesan at Glasgow Patrick, so went for 3 garlic baguettes (next cheapest at 99p each).

Not too bad for £2.97 all in

Recently Simply foods split from the main store meaning that although they are still one company as a whole if simply food or the normal store has bad sales they don't bring each other down, that is why you will not find the free carving board or vinegar thing in simply foods. I used to work for said company and I can tell you these things are most certainly not made to last, cheap wood, cheap glass and cheap metal, only worth getting these if you intend on buying the required products to get it otherwise you're better off getting real ones. One other point to make, all these free things this company gives away have their name either burnt into it (wood items) or etched into it (metal or glass) so they don't look too nice if left out lol.

Anyone know where I can buy good drizzlers that don't leak or let the top drop off when you are doing a salad, covering it in 1/2 pint balsamic!

If you cant read capitals i suggest you dont try to. Also i do know where the caps lock key is so engage your brain first, as i was shouting as people are giving wrong information. smarty pants bet ya blonde dum de dum :p

My partner not been able to see them the last couple days but he phoned me from work just now and said he managed to get the free set when he had a trip out at lunch. He bought a pizza about £4 which he wanted anyway and 2 garlic baquettes 99p each but our son loves those so he'll eat them.
#26
Went in my local yesterday and they had loads, but no parmesan with the stickers on, only the italian ready meals and fresh pastas. got bag of fresh pasta (£1.29) and two single stick baguettes (99p each) so £3.27, still not bad since I was going to buy the pasta anyway. Parmesan would have been better but alas there was none.

PS My local is a Simply Food, not an actual M&S
