That makes it a bargain for me then, even if the headset is only £6.99 at Play. All I need to know now is, does the headset work with the PS3?

PS3 uses bluetooth technology so the answer is Yes.

Any bluetooth headset can be synched with the PS3.

according to review on play.com headset has probs with ps3

yeah in theory it works with the PS3, i thought about buying it for my PS3 but reading the reviews on Play i thought otherwise:

i bought it specifically for my ps3 and it DOES cut your controllers off

Bought this after reading the first review. Connected to phone really easily, however, incompatible with the ps3 as it keeps disconnecting the controller. Very disappointed.

had terrible problems with this headset, bought it specially for the ps3 got it to work for 10 mins then it would just disconnect itself (along with my wireless controller) and i had trouble knowing if the device was on or off.

sounds okay for use with phones but i might spend a bit more and get one that works with my PS3

Even worse i couldnt even connect it with my phone. battery type is of great annoyance, instructions that came with it were useless... only good point i suppose is that it cost me £7.50 not £25.00 thank god.

Cold from me as its quite a hassle to get the £10 credit applied.
Got 3 of these for different people, all had problems with getting the £10 applied.

But a great number don't work properly with it and cause problems, hence my asking.

Just got mine through today, registered on-line with Orange but balance only shows as 1p.

Got through to CPW (after 15 mins!) and they said the £10 top-up should happen automatically within 8 days (should be 1-2 days according to the bloke I spoke to)!! If it doesn't come through in 8 days I have to ring CPW again on 0870 870 168!!

I think they should make this claer when you order, okay I guess if you are happy to wait.

its a very big problem. especially with orange. the credit is ment to get applied withi 8 days, many times this does not happen.

you call carphone warehouse up and they say give orange another ring.

orange say please wait another 48 hours

doesnt happen, you ring up carphonewarehouse they say we are going to email them and wait another 8 days as the credit applying process will be restarted on your sim.

very annoying and long

If this is still going can it be used when you get a SIM only 1 month contract?!?
