I've tried to register the sim I got, first online, then by phone.

It seems you can't register the sim and get it up and running unless you buy a handset as you can't get any further without an IEMI number.

Can someone give me a clue as to whether there is a way of doing this. I've got 2 perfectly adequate, unlocked phones. I'm not going to spend money on an unnecessary third.

Why can't you use an IEMI number from one of your phones then? I did, I got £1 free credit & 3 days later a text saying I had 1000 free texts, simple,

Sounds good - cancelled my o2 contract a few days back and was going to replace with an o2 payg sim, but this has some slightly better perks.

What's the deal with phone unlocking these days? I have some vague recollection of reading about how you can get an unlocking code from your network when you leave these days, but can't recall the finer details.

Sims will be dispatched within 21 days. 1,000 free texts available within 14 days of Registering.

Of course you have to register at the end of the day they are trying to get new customers. whether you use it after the free texts or keep as a spare doesnt matter!

Hmm do you have to top up to get the 1000 texts? Or are they literally gonna give a months worth of texts for free!
