Why has this been spammed and expired within 10 seconds of posting it?
#2
Because you put an expiry date in, which was in the past?

:p

Whoops  - perhaps people need to buy this to go with this deal if that's the case...

Ordered paintballing, nice one!
voucher valid for 10 months too :)
#5
i went paintballing 3 weeks ago still got the bruises
#6
What's so good about this...

You still have to pay a tenner extra per person when booking for paintballs which adds up

It's not Free
#7
as the OP pointed out, you must pay a deposit

how do you get that back?
#8
The £10 on paintball is for your actual paintballs,

free entry, gun hire, gas for the gun, overalls + food at some locations.
#9
Am I missing something?
It's not free if you got via quidco?
#10
This is a pretty good deal to be honest, bought two of each to give as presents, cant beat them for less than £2 each!

Did you place separate orders, or did you order 4 on the same order?
#12
Cold, its not free. Its a tenner each at normal sites. So this is just for show, ie presents.

Classic!

i think with the paintballing you'd have to buy loads more paintballs throughout the day 100 isn't enough (which can add up depending on how many you need) apologies if ive got it wrong.

"This is a pretty good deal to be honest, bought two of each to give as presents, cant beat them for less than £2 each!"

"Each customer is limited to a maximum of one free experience per order. If you add multiple free experiences to your basket you will only be sent one. These experiences are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. "

How do you book 4 then?
#17
nice one, ta! :)

I ordered one each ... They rang me back within 3 minutes lol
" You are only allowed to order 1 package at any oone time " I now thought to myself it is going to cost £1.95 for either of them but in theory I have seen these floating around in magazines adverts. The makeover is only for 1 person and you do get 1 free photo to go with it.
Dont think the deal is hot, but dont think it's cold either .. Warm!
Nice find!

The paintballing one, 1 voucher entitles up to 8 people to go at the same time. and they all have to pay £10 each for paintballs...

EXACTLY!!!!! They're charging £10 per 100 paintballs which is robbery! A lot of the sites mentioned already offer £10 per adult admission including all equipment and your first 100 paintballs...then it's £5 per 100.

It's pretty much impossible to use less than 400 paintballs if you have any intention whatsoever of enjoying the day...so this deal will cost you £ 40.

Book direct and it would cost £ 25 for the same deal.......so your " free deal " is £15 more expensive....plus your £1.95 for this " free deal "......

Since this is :
A - NOT FREE at all!!!
B - An expensive option anyway.....

I've voted COLD...............................

Anybody got a similar analysis/insight about make-over?

Looks good voted hot
#24
does anyone know if you are allowed to take your own paintballs?
#25
£10 for paintballs is pretty standard, and £10 is only for the first 100 the rest are at the standard price of whichever location you book in, often around £5 -£7

you may be able to find cheaper by booking direct, but £10 is still standard price and great for gifts as you can choose from over 50 locations.

Also the organiser gets 200 balls,

My brother bought me the same package for £20 a few months ago and it was a great day out

No, thats how they make all their money. Ive only been 2 or 3 times but each time it was with one of these 'deals' and as has already been said its not really a deal as you get slapped with paying a tenner for the first 100 paintballs which you could make last a game, maybe 2 if you hold back.
Good idea if/when you do go is buy the paintballs in bulk (ie think you can buy say 3000 for X amount) then split them up between a few people-works out a LOT cheaper that way than each person buying a few hundred seperately

I went paintballing last weekend, it was free for me (brothers present), but like said above the paintballs is where the money is. You should really expect to spend atleast £40+ on paintballs unless you don't plan on shooting much. Bulk buy paintballs with the people your with and split the cost.

Saying that though, despite how much money we all spent it was a brillaint day out and well worth it :-D

I expect that they try to sell you a full portfolio of pictures after taking them all. Of course you can always refuse.

good deal, I look forward to shooting my friends

Just had a look prices are not good either, just in case you happen to love a few pictures.

My brother and his mates have been paintballing many times and it cost them £20 ech and then extra for the paintballs. WIth this voucher they are all saving £20 each and only paying for the paintballs. It may not work out free altogether but it is definitely a £20 saving 8 times over.

They got ripped off then if they paid £20 and never got any paintballs.
#33
paintballing is always "free" because it costs a fortune when you get there. I "won" some competition to take my mates and we al;l spend £35 each, not exactly free is it?
#34
£10 for 100 paintballs is definately NOT standard - it's a rip off.

Voted cold, if you want to do paintballing, there are often better deals - you pay a tiny bit more but get alot more balls, free lunch, etc.
#35
£10 is for the first 100, the rest after that are cheaper.

tis also a gift, for which it's great.

So isn't that a bit like a restaurant advertising free restaurant experiences, and charging you for the food.

Or a hot air ballooning company saying free ballooning, then charging you for the gas to make it take off.

Or an airline saying free flights, and charging you for the fuel. Oh no, that's Ryanair, isn't it.
#38
i ordered 8 lol
#39
Paintballing is great fun.. But this isn't really a hot deal. I usually go through a box (2000) when I go. Costs me £25 for the box and then a bit more for using the site. It works out a lot cheaper if you have your own gear and go as a walk on.
#40
Smells well shifty. Reminds me about these phonecalls I got telling me I'd 'won' a free makeover that I just had to pay a deposit for. Obviously never went through with it!
