how about the warranty bro? because the price different is not to much i think
How can two completely different things be as good as eachother?
One is dildo with a bulb on the end, the other is a overpriced eyetoy.

1 year warranty on the charging station and gun as they were new, not sure for the controller/camera as pre-owned but in as new condition. Gamestation were doing the starter pack bundle for £15.98 pre-owned (not sure if still the case). I know it's only about a tenner difference once you add the cost of the game onto it, but I'm not interested in any of the games in this deal.
move is ok for games such as time crisis 4 but alot of the other games need to be played in a very bright room if you dont have a well lit area the games dont work..to use kinect i only need one light on in my living room for it too work but move i have to have all three lights on in my living room and even with those on i still have to get pretty close to the tv...also theres not many games out that utlise the move controller which is a real shame ,sony did the samething with the ps2 eyetoy they hyped it up then didnt do anything with it..
if you have kinect id give this a miss it really is taking a big step back buying one of these..

Again, you cannot compare these.
Move you can play many genres of games, and it is designed for a completely different purpose.
Kinect lets you wave your arms and pretend you're a disney character. It also lets you shout at your TV which does not make you look retarded at ALL.

move wasnt designedfor a different purpose it was designed to copy wii remotes which it does but not as well in some games..the problem are devolpers if there sony made games there good but if there third party there terrible and in a lot of cases unresponsive..
my local comet sold moves games at xmas for £4.95 each and it was buy one get one free so i bought the whole lot...out of the whole bunch the best ones are playstation heros and time crisis 4..
the dance games on move are terrible as is the fighting games avoid those...

Hi
I have had the move now for awhile
you say you need a very bright room to play on the move
we play with with next to no lighting and have no problems playing
the games i play with the move are
Killzone 3
socom 4
MAG
time crisis
which are great
the other half loves playing Micheal Jackson the experience ( and she never plays console games)
never played on the kinect so cant say which is best

I second the above.
Most Move games that I play I play in the dark - just the light from my Plasma.
This works really well because the controller(s) emit light - so if that's the only thing the camera is trying to track, the less ambient light the better.
There are two types of Move games:
Party-style games (including EyePet) which use the camera and PS3 to show you on the screen. These need LOTS of light and haven't really come on much since the PS2. Having said that, EyePet now uses the Move controller rather than that dodgy bit of card, and is MUCH more responsive.
Move controlled games which use the Move controller simply as the main or alternate control method. These games can be played in the dark because the camera is only tracking the light source emitted from the controllers (as well as getting their gyro config and button presses). I've played through Killzone and Resistance with these, Fight, Tumble and others... all work really well. I've got the Sharpshooter accessory and cannot recommend it enough when coupled with a FPS.
It's not perfect... just different - I'm about immersion, rather than Mouse/Keyboard/Sixaxis/Move.
I've not tried Kinect, but have heard that you need a fair bit of space to use it, can't play it in the dark, and have yet to see a game as complex as an FPS that rivals the other control systems.
