We've bought this before and it's great fun harvesting the spuds.

But, I think they've got a problem! It want's to charge me £4.95 on top for P&P!!!

Is there meant to be some code to get the £5.65 taken off ??? I have tried , but get the same , £10.60 ?? very confusing deal.

As you've had these before could I ask if these require anything else other than water (bug spray etc)? Also, what is the yield like? Can I expect to end up more than 7 kilos of spuds? What can I reuse the year after?
Thanks.

Hmmm...you're not talking to a gardener here! You will need one or more growmore bags of compost. But the pack also came with the gardening gloves in the picture. Wonder if it will this time?

We just left our bags out on a wooden pallet so they didn't get soggy if it rained. Watered them when it didn't rain! Never sprayed them with anything. Didn't keep anything for further use.

They are a 'soft-skinned' salad variety. We did boil ours like new potatoes. The yield was quite small but it was the fun of telling the offspring that we'd grown-our-own!

I've only got a 4 foot long balcony so compared to me, you're Percy Thower :)

Any info on the random seeds they threw in? Did they just go on top of the tubs?

You'll have to put the salads at the other end of the balcony! Separate pots; and be aware that tomatoes grow up like vines! So need stakes and ties. We've not had good results with seeds. Think they need more TLC than the spuds.

Finally got my kit and I have to say, no way was this worth the alleged price of £22.76 or even the £5.65 charged. It consists of the bottom half of a heavy-duty bin bag with holes punched in the sides, a 100gr sachet of Incredicrop fertiliser, 5 packets of veg. seeds (tomato, cauli, cucumber, cabbage and turnip) and 6 potatoes. No compost (which I thought was where the high postage came from) and worst of all no growing instructions. I'm very disappointed with it.
