I saw this ad, made me laugh, Ryanair MUST BE paying Argos and Tefal money for this meaning these flights are beyond past free, costing Ryanair money!
If only they would put that money towards some bloody fuel, 15kg hold baggage limit in Europe for a 1week holisday is ok in summer but not in winter, at least cabin luggage limit is 10kg. PS: If you go for this offer, make sure you get good travel insurance, wouldn't trust Ryanair with my rubbish let alone my luggage, /elitist rant over.

yeh but you cant complain, youre getting a free flight. the cheapest steamer is £14.99, so not bad

Nice find but is it really totally free. I remember reading somewhere that free flights are infact not really free since you have to pay tax and part of that tax is actually the airlines profit which they add to put under the tax category.

Maybe someone with more experience can explain...

I"m guessing that this does not include taxes or airport fees and also that it is restricted dates. It may not be much better than their normal 1p etc. promos.

From the small print of the tv advert:

"taxes, booking and baggage charges apply"

Thanks for re-posting in "hot deals" sarbjeet. It might be a handy enough offer... but those taxes get ya every time :)

I was laughing at the ad because most of the time the flights are "free" or 1-99p anyways.

i dnt understand how they make money???

All ryanair airports are outside of the city they claim to land in, miles and miles away from the city centre.
So desperate are these airports for a flow of passengers to walk past their high rent high profit margin "duty free" shops they pay airliners money to land at their airports so long as they meet certain quotas on passengers levels, ryanair does this, gets millions from each airport and did so while claiming subsidies illegally off the EU at the same time.

Ryanair are cheap yes, but 1 thing goes wrong and you ARE royally screwed and you can be sure they overbook, never check in late.

Yeah, most of the time the flights are near free anyway with RA, just pay taxes/fees. So, this is dubious.

i use ryanair all the time and they invariably arrive and depart on time
you get what it says on the tin
they have starte charging you to check baggage and surcharging you if you need to check baggage and havent pre paid

i actually quite like them and their style they are not trying to be british airways business class if you want that pay the money for it

A complete waste of time this. Whoever posted this most likely has no idea about Ryanair, about air travel and simply got carried away with the term 'FREE'. Nothing is free when it comes to Ryanair. Given that you have to pay taxes and fees, not to mention all the loopholes you have to jump through to get this this one SINGLE ticket, (you have only a five day window in January to book your ticket), not to mention having to pay to check your luggage in, added to the appalling customer service offered by Ryanair (which I would actually describe as contempt for the customer) you really must be desperate to save what will be only a few pounds at most. Avoid this at all costs!!!!!!. Get a steamer if you want one. Don't if it is simply to for this offer. Save your time, energy and money and go and book with a real airline. Those who are well travelled will understand why you do not travel Ryanair.

Don't even get me started on their attitude to wheelchair users !

ryanair are rubbish! i got stranded in venice not long ago cause they use this little shack of an airport which can't land planes in heavy mist - which u get most mornings in venice!! four flights were cancelled and they weren't gonna be able to get me on another flight for 2 days. Ended up paying £140 to another airline so i'd be able to catch my connecting flight. Of course both ryanair and the insurance company are refusing to pay up.
