Go careful, this is my first post.

Have just seen this deal on the e2save site. You can get a FREE Samsung 32" TV AND a free phone, the best one I can find for free is the Nokia X3.

The offer is on a £30 contract and you get 500mins and unlimited texts.

I've been looking for a new contract and when you get a free TV its screaming heat!
There's no redemption, nice and straight forward. - I Like it :)

You can also get £46.50 cashback at Top Cash Back or quidco.

Happy shopping!

In summary, the price comes out to £720. I havent had a look and seen what the TV is but you can get a branded 32incher for £300. Minus £50 for cashback coming in at £370 in total or £15 per month. You can get the X3 for free on a 24 month, £15 month with 300 mins/unlim text via cpw. You could also get the phone for £70 odds, sim only contract for £15 per month (inc more mins, unlim text and internet) for a shorter time and get cashback via quidco to make it alternative in cost.

What I am saying is.... do a bit more homework because there are alternatives out there which cost similar amounts and would give you more flexibility.

This has been the case for ages now on 18/24/36 month contract costing £400-£800+ where you get a free gift worth only a fraction of what you end up paying out.

Get a HTC Desire on all the current competitive deals out now to be honest.

That's the sort of mentality I have seen lead someone to Bankruptcy! :-(

If you need a tv and haven't much money, or acces to sensible credit, there are PLENTY of really cheap CRTs out there being given away, and mobile phones costing 10 quid upward. Proper money management means one day you might have access to credit for when you DO really need it, this sort of poor deal and faulty thinking is the reason the world is a bit stuffed at the moment, on a bigger scale :-(

Welcome Nottinghamchic - this deal will appeal to some, but nothing works for everybody.

It would be helpful in a mobile phone deal to state the network(s) it applies to, as some people have preferences etc. And their definition of stuff like 'unlimited' varies, such as data comparing Tmobile against Virgin and O2.

Thanks all, obviously a lot to learn!

The deal was with orange...you're right I should have posted that!

Thanks again though for your comments and your welcome to Quidco...i'm going to keep hunting :)
