"Top up credit only valid with the phone (IMEI) provided as part of the 'Fully Loaded' offer."

Break it or lose it and you lose the credit.

Blurb from eBuyer mobile site:
Samsung have every phone for every occasion by now! The E1120 is Samsungs latest mobile to come from Samsung as they enter the low spec race. But as you would expect from Samsung the quality and the sleek design aspects remain the same.

The Samsung E1120 isnt designed to break records or go where no phone has gone before but it is designed and made to be a great light easy to use practical mobile phone. There is no camera MP3 Player Bluetooth or radio on the E1120 but there is a fantastic sharp colour screen which is bright and easy to navigate.

The Samsung E1120 allows you to store your contacts and messages in its internal memory of 10 Megabytes. The standard Li-Ion battery powers the E1120 and you can enjoy talking to friends and family for a talk time of up to 9 hours and 45 minutes. In standby mode the battery can last up to a massive 540hrs which is a huge 22 and a half days!!

Ok a fairly basic spec "under a tenner" phone but its probably just what I need for my kid. Thanks.

does it really matter as you can only use the sim with the credit on it on this phone for the next six months .... yeah you can stick another sim in but you how do you use credit on sim otherwise ??

The offer is also available from Affordable Mobiles. The websites are similar since they are part of the same group. Don't forget to use one the cashback sites - 5% on both Quidco and TopCashBack.

it does hence the reason i asked... wanted it for present

i thought it would be a good back-up phone, something to leave in the car for emergencies or something

The phone only costs £10 though admitably you probably would have to buy at least a £10 top up with it,so all it really is is giving you an extra £20 credit for paying 6 months upfront

Of course, if you didn't mind being VERY illegal you could change any phones IMEI to the one on E1120 they send you, then you can use any phone you like. Not that anyone would obviously. . .

I think you can get this for about a fiver plus £10 top up on some phone websites if you wanted this as a present that you were going to change the SIM in. Surely not worth paying £50 for and losing the £60 free credit.

Its on the like of phones4u for less than £10 for the phone plus £10 for the top up ,then £10 quidco back,so overall cost less than £10,

Much better than being tied in to a phone and sim for 6 months payment upfront
