I know the first thing you are going to say; bad offer because of the cashback.

This is easy to manage as long as you are ORGANISED and able to send items special delivery if needed.

The offer gives you £360 cashback in four instalments. The terms are better than those of a 3rd party random agent. 60 days to claim, claims validated if goes missing in post and I have friends who have used Phones4U and managed to get their cahsback through. Phones4U give you a redemption certificate to use.

The deal itself, G600 for free along with 500 minutes and 500 texts is pretty good for £40 a month.

Where I have found this deal great, I am getting the phone from Phones4U and selling it on eBay as I can still use my other phone with the new simcard. £140 in my pocket. The actual contract itself is going to cost me £120 (as long as I dont use any extra minutes or texts - which I wont).

.... and assuming Phones4U dont go bust, like every other vendor offering cash back seems to have! Having been burnt for £420 for a Samsung U600 already not a fan of the cashback deals anymore.

I agree totally.
£40 though is still a good price per month for 500 mins and 500 texts. Pretty decent phone too. Only 12 months.

Phones4U are one of the biggest phone retailers out there.

Totally agree, misleading title?

Even with quidco it's still going to be £70 over term assuming quidco tracks and you make your cashback committments.

Also please take note that it's a CLEARANCE phone, so it won't be retail boxed and may not have all the accessories with it, hence probably not worth as much on Ebay?

Keep up the good work though, trying to find any sort of decent cashback deal at the moment is nigh on impossible :?

www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk are worth checking out.no 12/12 deals anymore but at least one 10/12:
http://www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk/Clearance.asp

i almost posted a 11/12 deal before checking for further details. the other phones said 12 month contacts on the thumbnail page. this didn't say any. when i checked the further details the contract is 18 months. look very closely at all the details before you sign up.

btw: i mention this site because i've ordered from it and its a part of phones4u, the 'clearance' phone i was sent had all accesories including cables and headphones (no extras like a free bluetooth headset or case though). the phone still had all its protective plastic on so looked completly new to me. looks like its a good idea to only go with sites connected to phones4u now. they're offers aren't as good as they were but at least you won't find the companies gone bankrupt because they have a solid business. they might lose money on some cashback deals but if they make you a permanant customer then they win. i wouldn't trust any website with no proper foundation at all. so many of these sites have gone that you may have to settle for reduced phones rather than free.

The free was to cover the title of the phone, but I do accept it is in the wrong place!! Oops.
My phone has arrived and it included everything which should be with it...box, charger etc etc.
If your quidco does work...you are looking at £70 contract which is roughly £5.83 a month.

This was a good deal but now cashback is for 9 months only.
[mod]#11
I have amended the title. You are still paying only £120 over the term of the contract. Sell the phone on ebay and keep the sim if you have another unlocked phone. Sell it for £160/£170 and you have made a profit.

This guy is a complete idiot. Mobiles2yourdoor are nothing to do with phones2u who went under. You cannot differentiate between the two yet still cary out your tirades against the phones4u owned mobiles2yourdoor.
