Phones 4 U are their parent company. Apparently they are good.

if you're going to go through all the trouble and uncertainty of a cashback deal, you may as well get a decent phone and decent minutes. the minutes on this deal are a paltry 75mins so not worth it.
#10
So - how much money would we have to pay in rental each month, for 18 months, this isn't clear, the post is focused on 'with 14 mths free rental on a 18 mth contract make your effective line rental £ 4.44'

We would be required to pay out a specific line rental each month, hoping to get the rental refund, plus topcashback or quidco etc.

But,you need to make it clear what specifically I, and others, are liable to pay out. This is our legal liability to pay this, and we can't just pay £4.44 a month of you need to make it clear what specifically I, and others, are liable to pay out. course.

Without accurate details, it's a poor post, and almost meaningless.

I take it your knew to cash back deals

You pay £20 a month like normal and after quarterly months you claim your money back like this -

Your £280.00 saving is available by redemption in 5 stages: £56.00 at month 6, £56.00 at month 9, £56.00 at month 12, £56.00 at month 15, £56.00 at month 18

Good point, but at these times people cant afford £35 24 Month contracts :?

This is a very good deal just for the phone, and the minutes are enough for a relative. Personally i already have a Voda PAYG sim, but have gone for this as 75 mins will come in handy.
#13
You could go via the youatwork link to order the phone and then get £45 cashback into your bank account direct from Dialphone and not have to worry about a cashback site paying up. Thats what I did last month when I ordered the LG POP on this deal, and it is still available if anybody prefers it to the Tocco Lite.

Suppose it's a cheap way to get into O2 and qualify for their 'customer' broadband pricing.
#15
Good deal if a. you can get by on 75mins and b. don't forget to send your cashback claims in on time.

Mmmm, you should be explaining the deal as if everyone is new to cashback deals, so it's clear what you're actually paying out every month.

You said it was a "light user rental" and reading your post, most would think you only need to pay £4.44 per month. You ommitted to mention the monthly commitment of £20 for only 75 mins and 125 txts, which I don't think is light at all.

The cashback might be good but it's never guaranteed. Cashback is with the retailer but the tariff with the network, so if the retailer goes bust, you still need to pay the £20p/m to the network. You need to make sure the tariff is good and you can afford the commitment before you even look at the cashback.

Consider editing the original post to make it clearer what you are actually committed to pay out every month.

I rate dialaphone highly... Over the past 10 years ive not had a single problem with any of my half a dozen or so orders. Their cashback system is reasonable and theyve always paid me.

I take it you're new to the English language!
I think he was highlighting the fact that you don't state anywhere that you still have to pay out £20 every month and claim the money back every quarter to make it equivelant to £4.44/ month.

Hmmmm you guys are picky aernt you?

After cashback and quidco it works out at around £2 a month for the last 4 months. I am posting a deal if i put samsung tocco £20 a month 75 mins people will be put off and think thats rubbish but i did explain that it was a cashback deal... Have a look at this thread look how popular it is and its the same deal just on a diffrent phone http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/603103/free-lg-gd510-pop-on-o2-plus-14-mon

I've used both Phones4U and Dial-a-Phone and they've both been very good at paying out. Just remember to make a note in your diary when you have to send off the redemption form and make sure you do exactly as it says on the form. Also, remember to send via recorded delivery so you can make sure they received your form.

Hi dude

Did your phone come unlocked?
#24
Had this phone a while now, great for texting but the touchscreen goes off all the time so it's annoying most of the time.

Suggest popping a Tesco sim in when ya monthly minutes expire (4 p texts)

I wonder, is it possible to transfer my existing number (my Orange is fishing)
or only O2 customers are eligible to do that?

agreed. recorded delivery eliminates any "we didn't receive it" problems as you have an electronic signature as proof uploaded to Royal Mails Site. Enter your tracking number to view it ans copy the page to your computer. Never had porblems with carphone warehouse or dial a phone.

On o2, yes, mine was unlocked - this was around 18 months ago though and I don't know if it varies from phone to phone.

Not sure what you're "fishing" with an Orange for but yes, you'll be able to transfer your number to o2 - they are very good when it comes to number transfers as you don't have a time limit, unlike Vodafone where you have to transfer it within 7 days of joining up!
#34
Good deal if you remember the cashback.
Crap deal if you forget £18 for those minutes and texts is a joke.

Wont vote as cashback is definately NOT guaranteed , but as long as you do everything by the letter and wipe your ass front to back you'll be fine.

In other words, if you miss the redemption dates or mess it up, they make a lot of money and you're paying through the nose for an average line rental and mediocre phone.

Yes, but if you don't miss a redemption date and do as it states then you'll get yourself a nice little deal for around £1.66 per month (including TopCashBack)

+1 and a nice little phone worth £80 ;-)

I'm having this delivered 2morrow. It's also tracking a £50 from topcashback. If everything works out I've got a £80 phone by spending £80. So in effect if I sold the phone I've got 1350 min and 2250 text for free.

+1 just received my phone yesterday and its bloody awesome!

They also do the white version, it's a 24 month contract @ £15, but you get £385 cashback, so effective line rental of: -£1.04 (yes, minus!). Then you have your quidco/topcashback on top of that.

Plus you get unlimited texts on that one, which in itself makes it a better deal for the heavy texters.

I'd snap one of these up, but already on O2 so can't port my number. Is there any way to port to PAYG on a different network then port back? Actually, don't think that would work as I still have a couple of months on the contract left.
