No, you pay for the paper. The tie is free.
#3
collect instore? or send away and pay about 8 quid postage like many free offers? anyone know?
#4
Shouldn't this be a 'Freebie' and not a deal?

I know you have to buy the paper, but all the paper give aways are in the freebie section.

Have you seen the third image? "Look your best while shouting at people"

Great deal... assuming no ripoff postage!

Hot.

Not sure if WH Smiths are doing their usual deal of a free bottle of water with the Telegraph... may be possible to get double freebies!

If you're buying the paper anyway, I'd argue that it is a genuine freebie :)

Think it's £1.90

This is only a freebie if you buy the Sunday Telegraph anyway, in which case you'll find out about the offer when you get your paper and don't need to read about it here. So this shouldn't be in the freebies section. I'd happily pay £1.90 for a nice tie if I'm shopping near an Austin Reed. Telegraph might be good for lining the cat's litter tray.
#11
so how do you get the free tie - P+P involved
#12
anyone no how?
#13
As they've listed links to your nearest store, I'm guessing that it's collect from store only?
#14
Think I'll keep to my Skull & Crossbones.
#15
Thanks for the post.

A tie worth £30? For that much I'd want gold thread, and fresh silk, taken directly from a silkworm's rear end the same morning.:p
#21
Austin Reed stuff is quality this is a great deal, although i have never paid £30 for a tie,
#22
this is a cracking deal. Although i would never pay £30 for a tie, i would definitely spend £1.90 for a decent tie, so hot hot hot from me!
#23
Does anybody know whether you'd have to pick up the tie on the Sunday or whether you could just print off the voucher and get the tie later on in the week?
#24
Great deal

The Sunday papers are ridiculously priced these days.... this one esp.
#26
to be fair, those look pants- I'd rather pay a tenner and get one that would be worth wearing
#27
My god, some people on here are ****!! £30 is about right for an average tie - you really can tell the difference between cheap and average ties by the way the knot sits, and quality of material. Seven-fold ties are far better than these, but you are looking at about four times the price.

Austin Reed are solid mid-range, and better value than ted baker / other fashion brands at same price point. Nowhere near mid-upper like Burberry / Aquascutum, and far below Hermes / LV etc.

As a freebie though, not bad if the patterns are ok.
#28
haha - pike y's blocked by the swear filter... must be a lot of them on here!
#29
Thanks supercarl, you've made me realise that my life will be better if I don't own a £30 tie or purchase the Sunday Telegraph. £1.90 saved: every little helps.
#30
happy to help:)
#31
According to Money Saving Expert you have until Thursday to claim the tie in-store. It only applies to independent branches, not franchises (such as in House of Fraser) and is dependent on them still having stock when you get there.

No idea if it's a nice tie.
