I was paying far too much to Sky as my 12 month deal had run it's course and came across this from Virgin, that suited me well. Thought other may be interested.

For £55 per month I get:

- 12 month contract

- 200mb broadband + Super HUB v3

- V6 box (record 6 shows at once per box)

- 240+ TV channels (inc HD)

- Sky Cinema (had to add this as part of 'Presonalising my order' and says it should cost when you add it the total is the same - therefore free :) )

- BT Sport and ESPN

- Free Weekend calls

- Free voicemail

Free install but does have a £15 'Activation fee'

This is all standard and for any new customer. The adding of the Sky Cinema for free seems to be the extra bit.

FYI: I went in through Quidco (TopCashBack do it too) and it says I should get 'up to' £220 back, but I can't yet confirm that.

*update* currently tracking at £110 cashback

Good job this is only a 12 month contract then

Or just look on the main page for the limited edition full house movies and you don't need to add anything...if this was sports instead of movies I'd be excited but not in the market for a movies package. Not voted either way.

I'm paying £35 for this without the movies

No good for me. You forgot the £200,000 I'd need to move to a cabled street!

Exactly - I'll obviously look for my next deal at that point.

Not sure why the cold votes. Sky couldn't come close even at £80+ pm and nowhere else has a recording box for multiple channels. Anyone got a better deal as I'm sure I can cancel?

Agreed that it's odd it's not offered outright in all locations.

I went for this last week via topcashback £220 tracked and a £100 retail voucher. Anyone care to explain the cold votes? Sky would not budge on the fibre broadband price hence the move.

I spoke to them on their online chat earlier in the week after the whole Discovery Channel debacle (wanted a back up plan in case they really did pull from Sky) They offered me what you've got, but for £75 a month on a 12 month contract. I pay £90 a month for this package with Sky, minus BT Sports, so I'm getting on to Sky tomorrow to see what they can do. Plus, the internet is much quicker and the V6 box lets you record way more programs than Sky do (unless you have Q of course) So your package sounds awesome :{

Do it. I think I will swap. For the Sports package though. Sky get on my nerves :3

Cold for me, i will not pay more than £30pm for this type of deal, unfortunately that is only offered by retention team, for new customers it is always very expensive

Well Im happy with this deal, factor in the £110 cashback and it works out £46 per month, heat from me :)
