But this offer is way better, just phoned up and she applied it for me no problem,
Thanks
Not sure why it's cold ?

Possibly because the OP has not mentioned the activation fee of £50.

Only £50 activation fee for new customers, existing fibre customers get the discount with no extra cost, maybe should of been mentioned yes

I have the full Sky package including standard BB and they are trying to charge me £50.

Your upgrading to fibre so yeah, activation fee still applies
#9
just ask for cancellations they soon change there tune and wave the activation fee

Just logged in and link suggests for existing users Unlimited Fibre is £10 a month for 6 months, then £20 a month for 6 months. £10 off forever is linked to taking Sky Sports. Or am I looking at the wrong page?
#11
cold.. actually 'freezing'

I've recently cancelled and got the retentions team calling me the other day, quite frankly the deal they offered was pretty poor, I needed fibre as the BB was really bad from mine, I was paying 38 for everything sports movies HD family broadband and line rental all in, she offered me 63quid all in with fibre! as you can imagine I told her where to shove it!
#13
I pay £10 for 78 meg fibre Pro already and when contract up I'll get the same again, this deal is nonsense, as if your a mad enough to pay full price for sky sports you certainly stupid enough to see that that price covers the broadband price as sky offer adsl snail pace free anyway so it's not anywhere near as good as the deals those of us that know how to handle sky and there retention game. Deal is colder than a mother in laws kiss!
#14
Hi, Thanks for this one.....I just went onto sky chat and got £10 per month off my unlimited Fibre for 12 months...£120 for me :)

PS My offer was only for 12 months and not linked to Sky SPorts or anything so basically I got my fibre for half price just for asking!

25gb on fibre is useless imo and on the 2nd warning of going over you have the option to pay per gb or upgrade the package with no deals because you are already on a deal

Please tell us all how you got that deal as its £30 on their website?

Before I had unlimited fibre there were times when some Xbox downloads, BBC iPlayer, Amazon prime videos etc took me over the limit and I was charged extra. Would only consider unlimited packages now.
#19
My life is unlimited... so I expect nothing less from any company... at a resonable cost... or I'm out ;)

To clarify, there are NO activation fees unless you already are a customer of both Sky Broadband Unlimited and Sky Sports, in which case there is a £50 fee. If you don't have Sports, or don't have Sky Broadband, or are new to both, the fee is waived. If you're an existing Sky Fibre customer, there is also no fee.

Not bad given new customers are charged £39 upfront to get Sky Fibre.

The £10/month discount applies forever - as long as you keep Sky Sports - across Sky Fibre (from £10 to £0), Sky Fibre Unlimited (from £20 to £10), and Sky Fibre Pro (from £30 to £20).

Are you sure the deal includes Sky Fibre Pro, can't see anything to suggest it does?

It does - it's just only available by calling Sky...!

For some reason, only the 25GB Sky Fibre and Sky Fibre Unlimited deals are available online.

Thanks OP, I'm an existing non-Fibre Sky broadband unlimited customer so tried my luck with an Online Sky Op Chat and they have upgraded me to Fibre Unlimited waiving the £50 activation, a free router and an equivalent deal of £10/mo for 12 months without Sky Sports, so getting it for the same as non-Fibre - Nice :)

Because i was leaving BT and BT offered me 80 MB for 14.99 to stay and the adviser at sky i was inquiring about fibre pro to offered it for £10 plus line rental of £17 so for £27 I got what BT was offering for £34

There definitely is - I can only assume the agent you spoke to wasn't aware of it. My only advice would be to try again and be persistent...!

I called 03442 414141 and asked for the Sky Fibre offer. £120 off a year seems a good deal to me. Good luck!
