I think he is refering to the £50 M&S vouchers, OP doesnt state it comes with £95 quidco. i think that is the hot part of this deal as yes the M&S vouchers are pretty standard! :)

Sorry didnt see the quidco bit, must be going blind! Heat added

From £28 a month for tv is silly.

There, I said it...

Cold for me as i live in flats and can't order online so no quidco, and i haven't spent a single penny in M&S in years.

Phoned Sky and was offered Free box, free install (communal dish is already installed) 6 months free HD and the same for a friend or family member if they already have sky.

Going to wait until after the World cup though - that's when the real deals will become available IMO

Is there much World Cup on Sky? I thought it was pretty much covered by BBC + ITV

True - But you need sky or freesat HD to get to watch it in HD.

If you add on your monthly TV License of £12 its £40 a month, so I'm with you on this one. Personally I don't pay for anything twice and when I'm already paying a high price for terrestrial TV I am not going to pay for the same channels again.

I have a Freesat box from a previous life and a communal sky dish so I only pay for the tv licence now. Strangely (perhaps, I don't know) the Humax Freesat box gets all the main channels and +1s (including ITV & BBC HD) and all the Sky boxes I have tried don't. I'd have guessed the opposite.

Or if you live in a freeview HD area, but of course you need a "Freeview HD" capable TV or Freeview HD Box. (neither of which are cheap at the moment but at least uses the same TV aerial and does not need a dish if you do not have one...)

I wish the Humax Foxsat HD PVR would fall in price, £230 it has stayed at for ages now.

That's another question - does anyone know if the PVR works well/at all with only one feed? Our communal dish cabling is all "in the walls" and there is no possibility whatsoever for a second cable from the dish or to add a new dish. Sky HD+ has a single feed menu option.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this on Freesat. Thanks!

You can split it, but general concensus i found online ages ago was it degrades the signal and some channels might not be available on both feeds or could be lucky and nothing degrades.

This is a cold deal for me.

If you do a search you'll find the half price for 12 months deal which is also free HD box, free install and m&s voucher. Works out much cheaper.

As others have said on many other threads, quidco is not definite. I am a fan as my 1st June sky install tracked at £160 :).

Half price rental = lieing about being an affiliate/reseller of Sky which = fraud.

Your post is factually wrong. You don't need to be an affliate or reseller to get the half price sky for 12 months deal.

Examples are plentiful if you aren't too lazy to look around.

There's the retention offer for existing customers, especially if you mention that you are wanting to switch to another supplier.

Or you just say you want to cancel full stop.

Otherwise there are plenty of codes for people who work for larg companies / organisations.

Then there's the friends and family offer codes from resellers.

Finally sky are mailing previous customers and doing a come back to sky promotion.

So plenty of half price offers be you an affiliate or not, a new customer or existing...

Do some research before posting and you might be adding value instead of trolling.
