Just out of interest, why do people post mobile phone deals in "Electrical" rather than "Mobiles"?

I am concerned about cancellation.
Will it be easy?

Here is the catch - I read through the conditions

With this fantastic deal you'll also receive a pay monthly SIM card! The pay monthly SIM card gives you the best of both worlds. You'll get great value for money with more minutes and texts than an equivalent PAYG or monthly contract tariff, plus the added benefit of not being tied into a lengthy contract! You can leave the contract at anytime by simply giving 30 days notice. Just simply put the card into your existing phone then talk and text away!

Effectively you end up paying £60

So, not a good deal - go and buy the PAYGO one for £39.95

you can serve the notice period the moment you have received the phone....that way you dont need to spend a month extra...

Dont forget quidco 30 pounds cashback, if you stay connected for 2 months.

How to cancel!
Ask for PAC code after a couple days: port to another network.
You will only get charged £30!
Problem Solved.

you cant, for the first 14 days ,because if you cancel within the 14 day period then you have to give the phone back as well, and the whole thing is cancelled

you're wrong! you need to return the phone if you cancel the whole contract itself within cooling off period.
when you give months notice on the first day for cancellation of contract it does NOT come under 14 days of cooling off period. so you can keep the phone. hope this makes sense.

how did you let that happen. You must have taken this deal from e2save or cpw or their affiliated shops who must have tricked to believe you that you need to return the handset.
I had taken many contracts from DAP before, and always you dont need to give your phone back to DAP coz they can never know if you've intimated to end the contract with o2.
