Cheers Russonf. Been looking at this phone for a while without taking the plunge!

Ordered this from CPW for £35/Month just yesterday, this is a good deal for the amount of data you are getting. Heat

If it was 4g I would take it but not paying for 3g only anymore
#7
if you rarely get on the 4g I suppose its fine. But I'm sure at some point withing the two years you'll regret not having 4g. Anybody who needs unlimited data would surely want 4g?
#8
Yeah, the lack of 4g is what's held me off getting it (although I've managed for the last couple of years without 4g perfectly fine!) But you could always upgrade to 4g during the course of the contract.

Has anyone gone through the process of upgrading from a 3g T Mobile plan to a 4g EE one midway through a contract? How flexible are they when negotiating :) ??

I used to be on T-Mobile. Their definition of "Unlimited" was 3GB for my contract. Not even near. Wont touch the lying scummers ever again. Even Three are better that T-Mobile.

You're not old enough to remember people wetting their pants over 3G? There was Rory on News24 as it was then "these are the fastest ever speeds!!" Then oh, it got a little bit clogged up. There he was again banging on about 4G until oh..that will become clogged up too. Couple of years or so round 3, ding ding....

I've just upgraded from orange to 4G on EE, i presume it'll be the same with tmobile it's costing me £2 more a month for 2gb of data, i was only on 500mb with orange and was always going over my usage by about 500-600mb so this is perfect for what i need i also got a shared data sim for a tablet/laptop at no extra cost too

Haha, I'm old enough to remember single line text mobiles - my first being the Philips Diga on Cellnet. Legendary.

What difference would that make? More like the Z3 is on the horizon given that's the direct upgrade to this. I've got the Z1 but I don't feel like the Z2 is worthy of upgrading to. I though the same when I went from the Z to the Z1. Christ, that's a lot of Z's.

No quidco tracking

wish it was 3
never go with tmobile

Trouble with TM is they get your business then rise the monthly charge
#22
Are you sure you don't get 4g data on this deal? See this link http://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-and-home-connections/checking-and-improving-your-network-coverage/our-network/4g-costs-at-a-glance

I appreciate the link is from EE website but I assume that T-Mobile (and Orange) would be the same? The prices in all 3 shops (i.e. EE, TMobile and Orange) are the same.

Also I asked one of those online sales people whether 3rd party deals always include 4g data if the phone is 4g compatible and he said that it would do.

Am I missing something or was the sales adviser wrong? I want to go for this if I can have 4g!
#23
As far as I'm aware T-mobile don't do 4g. If, as a TM customer, you want 4g you have to swithch to EE.
I'd be happy to be proved wrong though- I'm with you, if this was 4g I'd be all over it!
#24
Unlimited 4g cost 60£-90£ I guess..

Just spoken to one of their sales agents about this deal, & you're spot on. This doesn't include a 4G tariff, not yet available via T-Mobile.
