how do you get the free sports pass?

It's mentioned in pink on the ad, and is sent by Email as a voucher code after you have activated your box (I activated mine on Wednesday, when I was unaware of the free pass and was surprised to get mine today)

Do you know what type of sports pass this is? Is it a day pass?

It's just a day pass, but still worth having to watch your favorite team when they are live on the box.

Expired by the looks of it.

You also get a free 1 day pass in packs of Carling lager.

No, it's for anybody who activates the box that come in the package by the 30th of November (new or existing customer). I binned my old box, then activated the new one on Wednesday, and got a free sports pass voucher code yesterday morning.

What about people, like me, who bought this item from Amazon UK instead of Argos? Will I be sent a free Sports pass code?
#12
Can I use the voucher on my current account? Wouldn't mind one for the living room, makes sense to buy one of these rather than actually subscribing every month or am I missing something?

Yes, you can.

none in stock if i get this delivered what happens if i get after 30th nov

You miss out

So just to double check something here - you don't need to activate the Entertainment Pass to get the Sports Pass, just the box itself? I'm only one month in to a six-month Ents pass so I don't want to have to activate another for months yet.

Possibly, Argos weren't offering the free sports pass on their website when I ordered on Wednesday, but I still got a voucher code by Email yesterday morning. It may be the same from Amazon.

Correct

Nice one, ta for the reply.

If you had Sky Sports for 6 months you might get a day of Entertainment out of Arsenal.
(Pre Wenger Football Wants)

Who is the most boring team nowadays ? You can up date my banter if you like. I guess Man City used to be till Guardrails took over (?)

How do they know the box is from Argos? Has anyone tried activating a box bought elsewhere to see if this works?

Hi, Can you confirm how long it was between activating your account & receiving the email & code? I've just signed up & activated box. Had an email confirming my account & 6 month Entertainment pass, but nothing about the free sky sports pass. Thanks.

NOW TV have a 'live chat' service on their website. When I bought a 2nd box previously and left it on the shelf for a few months, by the time I got around to setting it up the free movies pass had expired. 2 min on the live chat and they had sorted it out for me.

The Email states

Please redeem your code before: 31/12/16

To redeem your code:
Go to http://www.nowtv.com
Click on My Account then My Passes
Scroll down to Sky Sports Day Pass
Click Apply Voucher on Sky Sports Day Pass and enter your code
Hit apply and confirm any pop-ups - you’ll be good to go!

I presume it will then be stored in your account, for activation at your convenience (that's the way it worked when I purchased a £6.99 sports day pass last year)

Can you stack now TV passes? I've already got 3 months so if I activate it and add the 6 months will it make it 9 months or just 6 months?

You can't stack, but you could wait three months before using the redemption code on the 6 month entertainment pass.

Not in my opinion, but it's worth having (at no additional cost) if your a sports fan who doesn't have access to the Sky Sports channel's.

You can add a new code to your account when you're in the final month of an active pass, not before.

For those who support real football teams outside of the Premiership, who get one rare outing on Sky per year.

Don't forget (if like me you don't need the box) that CEX will give £4 cash for the box or £7 credit

Thanks for the tip. After doing a little research i've discovered that Sky will honour the Now TV passes for a year from the date of purchase, so I doubt I'ii be the only one with a pile of spare Now boxes.

I'm still waiting for a Plymouth Argyle match and they were top of their league yesterday morning.
