Cue all the Scousers voting it cold for no other reason than it's The Sun. Whether or not it's a deal.
Yes , those pesky scousers should simply shrug their shoulders and say "oh well, never mind that this scummy rag of **** lied and slandered 96 innocent victims for years and then, on the eve of the anniversary of the same tragedy, that scumbag and excuse for a human-being, Kelvin McKenzie, again attacked the people of the city and Ross Barkley in particular for no apparent reason with an article that can best be described as a disgustingly and crassly- timed crock of excrement, I think I am going to vote this hot because, afterall it is a top deal to get this vile rag for free"

Posting this today is in a bit of bad taste imo. I'm not a scouser, the paper was vile long before that event.

...and is that wrong? You go ahead and vote it hot. Sorry if the 'Scousers' (nice way of describing anyone from Liverpool as if below you) want to discourage anyone from having anything to do with that rag... They kinda have good reason you know...! I guess you weren't directly affected, so it doesnt matter to you what happened. Long as you get your daily comic. Have a nice day, Enjoy your Sun deal. Dont you worry about the nasty 'Scousers'.

When i was ten, someone threw a brick at my head. It hurt a lot. But, i've got over it and moved on with my life. I haven't looked out for all his FB posts and attacked him at every opportunity. My time has more value than i could ever gain by doing that. For the record, i would never buy The Sun. Because it's a **** newspaper, it contains no news. Not because it once published something that offended me.

If I were to visit Liverpool would I be able to find a copy of the Sun newspaper on sale in the newsagents?

Did they do it to aid them in increasing the sales though ? The sun simply published all lies, that hurt many people in an already grieving city, and they did it simply to sell more papers.

No, but I dare you to go asking around the newsagents for a copy.

I think he did it out of egocentric reasoning. There was certainly no altruism involved. The Sun, as i understand it, reported what they had been told by a police force covering their backs. If the people of Liverpool choose not to buy this so-called newspaper, i have no issue with that. What is ridiculous, is that many of them, plenty not directly related to the incident in question, think they can punish Murdoch. He's laughing at you .... all the way to the bank. Let it go and get on with your life. Fight the battles you have a chance of winning.

And yet, they take every opportunity to have a go. Whether you like it or not, "free" is a good deal on HUKD. The freezing temperature just proves that some people vote on their bigoted view rather than the deal itself. If you find it difficult to vote a good deal hot, just don't vote. I managed to do that.

Nobody is saying you should you ****. That doesn't stop "free" being a good deal.
That said, it's only available in Ewenny Road, Bridgend, so cold from me. :p

The Sun and The Mail as far as I can see are two peas in a pod that is anti working class and racist.
And I dont live in Great Britain but have read all the UK papers from a very neutral point of view.

A free kick in the gonads is not a good deal. A free paper for someone who usually pays for it is a good deal. It's not really that difficult to understand, surely.

Some of the independents don't stock it. Most of the chains and all the supermarkets do. It maybe under the counter, you just need to ask for it.

What a ridiculous comparison. Did you lose your life? - No
Did the the person who then threw a brick at your head publish a series of lies in the biggest selling newspaper in the country that blamed youfor the incident? - no
Did they take part in an orchestrated cover-up that caused your family a quarter of a century of pain and hurt- no
So, sorry if some people don't think that your crass and pathetic comparison holds water

Ironic to use the word 'bigoted' to describe people who won't vote hot for a free copy of a vile peddler of filth that mascarades as a newspaper. I'd prefer to describe the people who voted cold as 'principled'

Can i have that in English please? Two of my deals mention Manchester United. Both were guaranteed wins on BET365, therefore great deals. Now, even if you don't like gambling or BET365 in particular, they still remained great deals. For the record, i live less than four miles from Anfield and would not pay a penny for The Sun. However, this is a forum for posting money saving deals, not for perpetuating a ridiculous, self-righteous campaign that was supposedly won last year.

Man UTD have nothing to do with it, I know a lot of Man UTD fans who are disgusted with the Sun and also feel for the Liverpool fans that died, just as if it were their own fans..

As much as there's a lot rivalry in football, in times of disasters, they do have a tenancy to unite in support of other teams.

BTW I dont support any football, and I'm not from Liverpool either

But that isn't the point is it? I do not like the paper either. You are supposed to be voting on the deal, not whether the object of the deal is good or not. The ice cold temperature in here kind of proves my original comment.

I'm disappointed that this deal has gone to -415°.

I was hoping it had dropped further...

Yeah you would, you'd see plenty of them, and you'd see plenty of them being sold too. This boycott the sun bullcrap has being going on for years and they've never truly succeeded, instead they go around vandalising bus shelters with big "say no to the Sun" stickers and flyers. That **** me off more than misplaced journalism, we all know newspapers like the sun make sh*t up but there's excuse for littering the city and Wirral with dumb flyers and stickers. And don't get me started on some of the shop owners who will make crap comments to anyone buying it - why are you selling it if you're so against it!! Ive stopped shopping at a couple of my local places because I've heard them making nasty comments to people buying the Sun. Like I said - why the hell sell it if you're so against it! I don't want to shop somewhere where a seller thinks its ok to openly insult the customer. They also have the same Say No to The Sun big stickers on the side of some black cabs - guess what Mr cabby I'll go with another firm ta, well done you just lost a customer.
