I cant believe they actually charge for these.
been to several restaurants in London who have all been more than happy to accept the card for a full 50% off. The restaurants I have been to are independent ones too.

It can be an annoying scheme, often no better than the free toptable website. But if you do have a favourite local restaurant that takes them it can be a massive bargain. Mainly its for Londoners though.
As mentioned on another tastecard post these are most likely stolen..
Yeah but the one's on ebay are a voucher to use on the tastecard website, not the cards themselves

How to get your free 12 month tastecard
When you get your new phone you should get a tastecard scratch card with it.
1. Scratch off the panel on the card to reveal your unique eight digit code
2. Visit http://www.tastecard.co.uk/redeem and enter your unique eight digit code and details as requested
3. Click 'send me my free card'
Your tastecard will then be sent to you by post, this will take up to 14 days.
These instructions are also printed on the scratch card.
I doubt it unless the sellers who have stolen them are are thicker than a very thick thing, since for the one I bought the seller used their Carphone Warehouse email address in the payment details. And they had a *lot* of cards to sell.

Someone told me that the expiry date on these redemption cards is June 2011 .. Taste Card is the best. Plenty of savings to be had and no messing about with vouchers.

See a couple of posts back - if CPW are running this offer until 30 June, the cards aren't going to expire today. (_;)
There's 2 different cards atm. The one that just expired are cards we have had since january, they did indeed expire yesterday. Now the new ones was sent to us 2 weeks ago which as mentioned by other members expire later in june.. This was to cover the special promo "which wasn't promoted well" where you got a voucher card with any phone purchase. Usually it would have to be a payandgo product of £44.95. You get one free if you sign a contract regardless.
The promo was throughout half term. The vouchers are not tied to any customer and are upto the sales assistant to give them to you, so sometimes they may forget. Its better to ask if you want one now, as many have plenty still. But you are going to have to be quick as we send back the left overs. What you see on ebay are real vouchers but possibly rogue employees pinching them for profit.
