I received a leaflet detailing the deals at Waitrose when using your free MyWaitrose card (like the Tesco clubcard but without the points!).

- Free tea of coffee to drink in or take away if you're shopping at a store with a cafe. One drink per MyWaitrose card per day. PERMANENT OFFER - NO EXPIRY!

- Free Waitrose magazine (which often has discount vouchers in it too). PERMANENT OFFER - NO EXPIRY!

- Spend £50 or more four times between 1st November and 9th December and receive £25 worth of vouchers to spend in January. (Small print says you'll receive one £10 voucher and three £5 vouchers to be redeemed one per week during January)

- When you buy the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail or Scottish Daily Mail and spend over £5 you'll get £1.20, 55p or 50p respectively reduced from your bill. PERMANENT OFFER - NO EXPIRY!

The myWaitrose card is free, just sign up online if you haven't already. You can also pick up a temporary card in store and receive the benefits of the card straight away.
Every time you shop you're also entered into the competition to win a whole month's shopping or a whole year's shopping at Waitrose.

I think it's only on promotion from the 7th - 13th November so you won't have to cope with hukkers for too long, plus you can always get a takeaway and drink it in your Bentley enjoying the peace and quiet or radio two or classic FM :p
Just kidding, it's a great deal but I wonder if you don't have a MyWaitrose card already if you'll be able to get one in time.

Just to add, there's no spend required for free tea of coffee.

I was thinking about the free coffee earlier, if you have one card just pass it over the barrier to your better half to use again ? Hey sickly, I shop at Waitrose in my work gear , park my van outside , shop in a polite manner :3

They say you only need to 'show' your card so from that wording I'd assume they don't scan it and that would work.
I signed the whole family up for the MyWaitrose cards months ago when they started the MyWaitrose card scheme so we won't have that problem.
I always think of Waitrose as 'civilised shopping' X) so much nicer than Tesco and takes less time but must admit its more expensive if not sticking to the special offers.
Oh, and please call me Sweets, sounds much nicer :)
Enjoy your free coffee, perfect whilst it's so cold and will warm you up a bit!

Sorry Sweets , I don't know why I shortened you to sickly , we signed up for MyWaitrose too a few months back BUT I still forget to pass my card over to be scanned, I think its a way for them to send you specific vouchers etc , today we got the flyer through the post and yes the free drink is nice and we may try the web shopping deal too for the £25 vouchers

Are you sure the £25 vouchers offer is online as well? It doesn't say on the leaflet, I'd double check before committing.
Waitrose do lovely Christmas food so we'll probably be stocking up on some of the family favourites for the £25 vouchers deal as I've also got some John Lewis vouchers which can (and will) be spend in Waitrose. Yum yum yum. And the essentials range is cheap and good quality too. I might have to stick in some Millionaire's shortbread (no pun intended) as its so good.

Hmm. Gave them the temporary card with a daily telegraph and it only took 1p off. Asked at customer services who said they did not know anything about the offer but after reading the leaflet gave me the £1.20 but I'm none the wiser really.

That's a shame customer services haven't worked it ou yet but at least they worked around it and you got your £1.20 back :)

Sorry but don't see why it is so good deal. Because of the coffee? My husband received his card yesterday but worth nothing...
