I can't gaurantee this will work for everyone, however, worked for me in Yeovil Extra.

Terrys chocolate Oranges show as £1 in the Mothers Day Section, went through the till at £2.02, I didn't realise until I got home, went to customer services this morning, and with double the difference refund got £2.04 back, meaning I got the orange for free and 2p into the bargain.

It is up on the wall at customer services 'in the unlikely event we overcharge you we will refund you double the difference' worth asking to check their customer service mandate!

It is true. The policy is up. I work in a express and the poster is near our tills. Is worth double checking with them just saying It is you policy.

I can't believe potentially free chocolate gets so chilly, oh well, why am I surprised!

Well am guessing it may be one of the following.

1) It may be a hosting error so may only be wrong in selected price band stores.

2) They may have rectified the error now they are aware.

3) It's a lot of hassle for a chocolate orange.

To be fair, if there was a 'Heads Up' Section I would put it in there, mind you I wonder how many get overcharged and don't realise/do nothing about it....what gets me is I wouldn't vote cold as it is Free with very little input from yourself, if you are buying a chocolate orange for a quid and you end up with it for free that is a Brucey Bonus.

I laughed out loud at this 'deal'. So basically we all have to go to tesco and buy a choccie orange and then IF it scans through at the wrong price we have to then return it and queue at customer service to get our money back. If it scans through at the correct price then we have a choccie orange at the price you can get lots of the time in most supermarkets.

lol cracking deal :whistling:

If it was wine it would be different for you then, particularly if on the shelf at £4 but scans at £3 !

Sort of not, but it is about taking a risk, you were prepared to pick something up at £4 and pay a pound more than posted, rather than potentially pick up something for free...I know what you are saying, but you were the one with the first dig!:)

It's not really a deal though is it (which is why it got cold), and there is a miscellaneous section where it could be posted.... not sure how many people read it though!
