Get a free Tomtom one sat nav with Co-op car insurance, worth £90+

I got a quote for fully comprehensive with legal expenses and £150 excess for a competitive quote of £180, so well worth doing.

Very much depends on the car you drive/location/age etc - not just what anyone's been up to!

I have an 2.2 Accord, and it's around £360 with a clean license...

any idea when the offer expires???

You can't.

I just had one accident to report, that was someone who went into the back of me. 7+ no claims as well, My rate is down to my location and the car being parked on the road overnight.
This is by far the most expensive quote I have had.
#21
FYI: They only do quotes "up to 30 days ahead" so don't bother yet if your planned renewal date is too far away!
#22
Im 35 have group 17 car
7 years no claims

£1400

i paid £530 protected

so no deal for me
but might pay off for some

Certain insurance companies like certain profile of people depending on what their acturaries and marketing people have deemed as thier client base they are targetting

£70 plus a free Sat Nav - no brainer really!
#25
Yes you need to use capital letters 8 )
#26
Yep they aim for certain parts of the market

They dont go for high performance cars on 30+ high no claims
thats for sure

Thats the worst piece of advice is have EVER heard in my life.

Skimp on buying legal expenses cover and you face a LOT of hard work getting your costs back yourself or BIG legal bills if you decide to get a solicitor to do it for you. For the sake of the £15 or so its just a no brainer really.
#30
Managed to save £8.60 on the best quote I previously I had, excess £100 lower with a free Sat Nav and hopefully £70 QUIDCO well worth a shot. Have signed up cheers for the post

you can cancel with most insurers and just pay a months extra premium, may be worth it if co-op match or better ur existing insurance price + u get the free sat nav too
#36
CIS are generally pretty uncompetitive, especially for young drivers of hatchbacks!

55-year old Rover drivers are their meat and drink.
#37
28 Year old 11+ Full UK + 27 Year old 10yr Provisional, Social, Domestic + Business, 2000 Renault 1.4 Scenic, Sat Nav and possible (but not expected) £70. Total? £216 - I think that is ace considering I have added Legal cover and business cover! Cheers OP
#38
Great deal
My insurance is due and they have come up with a cracking quote of £114.50. £12.50 cheaper than my previous best quote :-D
#39
Cheers for this. My car insurance is due in a fortnight. We've got a new Zafira and I've only had my license for just under 3 years and only have 2 years no claims, on top of that I'm adding my other half who is a new driver so all quotes have been around the £700 - £750 mark. This quote is coming out at £734 with the TomTom thrown in so will be going for that.

Indeed. Getting a quote £300 cheaper elsewhere certainly makes it a no brainer!
