Following the instructions on the website, the following way should work for quidco (no guarantee):

1. Link from quidco
2. At the bottom of the page, choose "NON-MARKETING" in section "what prompted you to apply online
3. and "VCTM1-ONLINE" in campaign type

that should get you both a free TomTom and £15 quidco
#2
PS - there is some advice on MSE on how to get a cheaper quote

Quidco payouts typically take about 3 months

Coop claim it may take 2 months before they post the SatNav and maybe another 28 days for delivery (snail mail?)

did not realise it was a duplicate post. would have saved my breath ...

my own insurance quote is not competetive either, about £140 overpriced :?
#9
You say they have 600 to give away, wher did that figure come from?
#10
The following is from an email I received, which states the 600

The Co-operative Insurance are giving away 600 TOM TOM sat-nav systems for free^, to motorists who buy their car insurance online. In addition to a free tomtom you also get:
blah blah

If you go via a cashback site then you won't get the Tom Tom, as they state in the T&C's

[QUOTE][TomTom Terms & conditions

1. This is an Internet only offer which means that you can only qualify for a TomTom by obtaining a new motor policy via the Internet. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any cashback offer. Any customers participating in a cashback offer will not be eligible for a free TomTom.
/QUOTE]

So it seems to be £15 cashback or hope you are one of the lucky 600

Well I had better get one as it does not state 600 on the offer page. They claim it's worth £145 so if they cannot supply it I will be requesting a cheque for that amount.

TomTom Terms & conditions

This is an Internet only offer which means that you can only qualify for a TomTom by obtaining a new motor policy via the Internet.

This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any cashback offer. Any customers participating in a cashback offer will not be eligible for a free TomTom.

To claim your free TomTom you must select 'Non-Marketing' when asked what prompted you to apply online. Then select campaign type "VCTM1 - ONLINE" and get a quote and buy online. You must ensure you select these correctly at time of quote in order to receive your TomTom. Your free TomTom can not be claimed at a later date.

If you are required to prove Proof of No Claim Discount, you will be notified by post, and your proof must be received within six weeks of the commencement of your new motor insurance policy.

Provided that we have received your Proof of No Claim Discount within the time period specified in 3 above, your TomTom will be sent to you two months after the date of commencement of your new motor insurance policy. Please allow up to a further 28 days delivery.

If the policy is cancelled within nine months of the date of commencement then The Co-operative Insurance reserve the right to recover the value of the TomTom (£145) against the policy.

This offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. - Has not been withdrawn so must still be avaliable.

Needless to say insurance companies do have very different criteria to their policies. My CIS comprehensive insurance was cheaper than all but one quote for TPFT ones! And I went trough the pains off all major compassion sites… Their Quidco cashback was paid in about 3 months for me.
#13
CIS is cheapest for me even without the £120 cashback I got this year.

I've just trawled all the insurance sites again last week for a potential new car and they're still cheapest.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
#14
did anyone get the Sat Nav?
#15
Still waiting, for us its 29 July + 2 months + 28 days = about 28 October, still 2 weeks to go !
#16
So has anyone received their TomTom unit yet
#17
Just got back from holiday and have a missed parcel card, which courier has told me is from Co-op :) So this should be my free Tom Tom. (Policy taken out on 22 July) . I have also received my £35 cashback from CashbackWOW :) Only snag is my car has since gone to the big scrapman in the sky and I had to cancel my policy (they can't compete with new vehicle!) so I will have to wait and see if they try to re-coup the cost of the TomTom :( (If the policy is cancelled within nine months of the date of commencement then The Co-operative Insurance reserve the right to recover the value of the TomTom (£145) against the policy.) As I already have a TomTom I will just send it back, If they ask ;) Was just going to be a xmas pressie for the other half.
#18
