FROM APRIL 1
This has been posted before but its worth noting the following:-
For Option 2 (to be renamed "Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan" the contract length is 12 months and is automatically renewed for ANOTHER 12 MONTHS at the end of the first 12 months.

**** OPTION 1 PEOPLE MUST READ THIS *****
Chris52 has noticed, buried in the BT blurb, is a call rise for evening calls under Option 1.
He said "If you are on Option 1 you will get free weekend calls but the evening calls which now cost 4.5p per hour will cost, from April, 6p set up AND 1.5p per minute. That means a one hour call goes up from 4.5p to 96p. "

also if u signed up for the half price reconnetion deal recently 18 month tie in, u cannot get the deal as ur already tied to bt for 18 months so they not interested in helping you
#2
Can they legally do that?

How can they say "Once the contract expires, you will be legally bound for another 12 months unless you give us 1 month notice in month11!"
#3
called a rolling contract and if u agree to it its legal

Thanks for info - no real reason for people to vote useful info cold - perhaps because in wrong forum? not a deal, more like misc. warning
#5
so its better to change to option 2? is it ???
#6
What this means is that for £10.50 (cost of line rental) you get free EVENING as well as the standard Weekend calls.
So you get the current BT Together Option 2 for the price of Option 1 with a new 12 month contract.

I'm on option 3, i guess its not effected??

I'm on Option 1, but will not be changing as I've got a BT Hub phone so evening & weekend calls are free anyway?

Presumably if you sign up to this you can still use 1899 type services?

This deal was posted a year ago bud. But anyways, when I got a new BT line in my flat around June, this BT option 2 plan was what they tried to force me into. It took me many calls afterwards before they finally put me back to their cheapest plan (1 year without needing to renew).
