FREE Vitamins + £1 profit - Boots Loophole! £0.99

Found this on MSE

Boots is offering Advantage Card holders 200 points ( worth £2) when you buy any vitamins in store. The cheapest cost 99p, so you'll be £1 in profit, effectively making them free!

Just pop your card in the Advantage machine before 16 Feb in store and print away. You're only allowed three vouchers per customer but some MoneySavers have reported getting more than that. Read the thread below for feedback.

Only one voucher can be used per transaction though.

The vouchers can be used on all vitamins, but if you get some for less than £2, they're effectively free, and you can even make a profit! Here's a some of the vitamins under £2:

Boots Multivitamin tablets (30 capsules) 99p
Boots Essential Evening Primrose Oil 300mg (60 capsules) 99p
Boots 498mg Cod Liver Oil Capsules (30) £1.99
Boots Vitamin B Complex Tablets (60) £1.99
Boots Essentials Garlic Oil 2mg (90) £1.99
Boots Multivitamins, Minerals & Iron Tablets (30) £1.99
Boots Multivitamins Vegetarian Tablets (30) £1.99
Boots Complete A-Z Vitamins (30) £1.99

The offer is on until 16 Feb '10 and is available in all stores.

It's also worth knowing there's a 3 for 2 offer on vitamins on as well, which you can use in conjunction with the coupons. Yet you can only use one voucher with that - whereas if you bought the goods in separate transactions while it means less outlay you get less points.

Why reinvent the wheel? He credited it to it's original source so why not just paste it?

I believe vitamin pills etc are (almost) entirely useless and they'd have to pay me to take them away. Now they are doing!! I might try taking some and see if they make any difference to my health and well-being. Should probably get my wife to swap all the labels so I don't know what I'm taking.

You'll find that the vitamins are neither blue nor diamond shaped :p

Thanks :)

Very clever thinking, hot!!

Initially I did not note the ref to MSE at the top. As I read this listing it looked so MSE, they always do a thorough listing there. Nothing wrong with posting here as there are SO many forums to read on MSE, sometimes its too much effort :(

So, alternatively buy 3 for 2, spend £1.98 (taking the spend over £2 if you can) and gain 208 Boots points. Surely 3 packs of vitamins and 10p profit is even better! And you can do it 3 times, so ~ £6 spend, 9 bottles of vits and 624 points!!!

Gotta love these silly deals! Hotter than quite warm - I seldom visit MSE - thanks for reminding me again!

I'll always remember the one with 500 points if uoubought some womens range. The range had a 29p foam thing for your toes when painting them.
#21
There wasn't any when I tried my advantage card. Or my friends.

Toe separators gave 100 points, and they cost 49p. Bloody hard to find too. You can read about it here.

It was anything in the "Natural" range.... but they were the best buy. Not too long after they had an even better one on some facewash/moisturiser etc. Soap was by far the best buy. The amount of points you got from the ACM varied between IIRC 100, 150 and 200 points per item - maybe more. I remember buying a DVD recorder and some of those robot toys with the points ;).

Surely by posting this you alert Boots to the error and they will just make a correction.

You're right. Maybe we should all keep deals we find to ourselves

Same for me. This deal is not avaiable! Put card in the machine and their is no 200 points offer for vitamins. Not one person has confirmed the deal.

Saw this deal last thursday when I put my card in the machine. Printed the voucher but hadn't used it yet. used it today. put my card back in the machine and the deal isn't there anymore.
