Are they full of revolting-tasting and neurotoxic artificial sweeteners (banned from foods marketed at under 3s because of their neurotoxic effects) or did they use good old (mostly harmless) sugar?

If you have any questions on the science bit then call our nutrition expert on 0845 644 3 633 and ask for the scientist with the BSc.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) is a highly effective antioxidant needed by the body to help protect cells. It also helps the body to absorb iron from food.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) plays an important role in the release of energy from food and helps keep nerves and muscle tissue healthy.
Vitamin B3 (Niacin) is involved in over 50 different processes in the body, Niacin promotes production of the sex hormones and helps maintain healthy skin.
Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) is essential for regulating energy levels, and helps boost the immune system fighting infection.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is important for storage and release of energy, helps formation of blood cells, antibodies and aids nervous and digestive systems.
Citric acid is an organic acid found in citrus fruits. It occurs in the metabolism of all living things and acts as a powerful natural antioxidant.
Maltodextrin. Dextrins are a group of carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are the primary biological means of storing and consuming energy.
Wahoo is made with sucralose, the low calorie sweetener made from sugar, tastes like but isn't sugar!

Dont mean to be a spoil sport but in response to inicholas's comment I thought I would mention that Sucralose (also know as splenda) is in NO WAY natural. It has undergone little to no trials before going to market, so most of the effects are unknown.

It is believed to be less harmful than most artificial sweeteners (like aspartame for example) but no one really has any detailed clinical info, especially in the long term.

Im not saying people should cower in fear over this. but I think its pretty lousy that the manufacturers can get away with calling it natural. Because it really really isnt.

Yeah, I find it bizarre that manufacturer's can label food as "no artificial flavours" and then put artificial sweeteners in it. There are only 5 flavours: sour, bitter, salt, umami (a meaty taste created by MSG - monosodium glutamate) and sweet. Everything else is smell or aroma. That means artificial sweeteners and synthetic glutamates (like "hydrolysed vegetable protein") are in fact the only artificial flavourings in existence!!

Oh and Citric acid and Ascorbic acid are the same thing, one's an old name and the others a more modern one. Much like 1 inch is the same as 2.54cm. Why did they list it twice? It's added to lots of drinks as an antioxidant/preservative, not for its health benefits (eat an orange!).

"ask for the scientist with the BSc." - they employ "scientists" without a BSc? What do they have - O grade botany?
