Free wireless router for existing Tiscali customer out of contract, if you renew for another 12 months, or £20 if you don't renew the contract.

Go into My Accounts, Change broadband, and the option should be there.
The router they are giving away is Speedtouch ST585 v6 (4 ethernet ports and wifi).

Heard Tiscali stops users playing Call of Duty 4 online due to the game uses P2P to find games and Tiscali are blocking this at certain times.
Beside from that, don't they take the router back when you disconnect from your ISP, as other ISP does.

Only renew the 12 month contract if you want to, don't if you don't want to:whistling:
It's for exsiting Tiscali customer out of contract, so you should know if you want to or not by now.

We have this speedtouch modem via a Bethere package - it has a tendency to overheat and disconnect - was also a real pain to set up to enable wireless use of a laptop. Alright for a freebie but you wouldn't want to have paid for it.

I got mine from Tiscali a few weeks ago and it was a doddle to set up with my new Dell Vostro laptop (cheers, Mike ) and with a Philips dongle plugged into my old Evesham desktop. Also first time connection to my Ipaq RX1950. No problems with over-heating here and it's on 24/7.

If you're having problems with it, why not ask for a replacement. I'm very happy with mine and I got it free with a package downgrade (yes, downgrade!) from Tiscali.

Tiscali and generally known as a bunch of muppets in the Telco world. A bit of a laugh that they're offering some random wireless router as an incentive for a contract.

I've been with them since 1999 (Screaming.net - Worldonline - Tiscali), with broadband since 2005. Everything has been fine - so far;-)

I've bought a wireless router back in 2006, so I won't be opting for this. I paid £60 for it though... (not from Tiscali).
