I'd get this one from Seagate for the same price [my mistake, it's 3.5"]
#2
what do you mean from seagate.That's another brand.
#3
So what's so special about this??????? I can get 500gb for less than 60 quid from Amazon

£5 quid more for double the storage delivered. The 250Gb Seagate is £38 but that doesn't include P&P.

Here's a good eview from dabs:
Reviewed by Sean. Review Posted 20/09/2007

This drive failed a few days after receipt. I will be returning it and would not recommend it. I've now lost all data stored on it

* Overall 1*
* Ease of use 2*
* Value for money 2*

:roll:

Oh, and FYI Freecom don't make the actual HDD's that are in the cases

For example, taken from review at ciao:
http://www.ciao.co.uk/Freecom_Technologies_Hard_drive_250_GB__Review_5766057
I abandoned the Freecom for about 6 months but one day I thought...its bust anyway so I will open it to see whats inside. What was inside was a 250GB Western Digital drive unit

I still thank you for taking the time to post this tho :-) Thanks.

Do people think it makes them special to use a stupid colour which is barely visible.

Use the default dude like everyone else :whistling:

Gets a cold from me for silly font / colour ;)

Dude,I am sure there's way to set it up on your PC the way You can see everything unformatted. Are you not a web designer to judge me for colours etc and the drive has got nothing to do with the font I use either.

Yes,your'e almost right,if not taking under consideration,that the "similar prices" are not cheaper,they more than likely draw delivery charge,and the "reviewed" model is not the same,just because it's 250 Gb and Freecom.Yes,it is true,these drives have SAMSUNG discs inside which I believe dont make them less worthy,do they?
And yes,play.com has the same price,you're fast indeed.Double check it: This is what I posted...
Thanks for helping I hope I find it somewhere for about £38 or so,that'd surely make it a deal!!
