Bought something similar from Aldi a few months back. When used with its own aerial it is next to useless and only picks up three channels but if I use a coax lead from the roof aerial it is excellent and picks up the full range of stations.

However, when I use a splitter so that I can use the same aerial for my normal TV and for the computer there is interference and the TV set picture is terrible. TV in one room, computer in another, wife complaining in both rooms when I connect the coax cable.... :x :x :x

It seems to be getting few bad reviews on Amazon i have one already which got from ebuyer when they had the £10 off google checkout deal and im using Vista and it works ok for me ive not had much trouble with it but i didnt use supplied drivers.

I also have a splitter without a booster in my room and its ok most of the time i have had the odd moment where get it go blocky at times but most time ive had no problems i never bothered with the supplied ariel as everytime ive tried anything but my roof or attic ariel you always seem to get a poor signal imo.

Don't know about this one, but good price. Paid £30 for my Hauppage Nova-T at PC World reserve online (which works v well btw)

Throttle - I'm interested how you got it to work in Vista. I have one of these sticks and works fine on my XP machine. I bought another one recently to work with a Vista machine which took out the DVD drivers!
I'd be grateful for any pointers on how to get it working.

But I maintain that with a good aerial, its a great piece of kit!
